I LOVE the name sydney but i'm kind of biased, it's my little sister's name. But i think keep Cheyenne, my mom is a teacher and all of the Cheyenne's with SHY in front end up getting called "shy" instead of using their full name. I love both names but with the spelling i'd keep the CH
I'm going to vote NO on Cheyenne, especially with the alternate spellings. I don't know if you are of native american descent but I would give that name more thought. It can be considered offensive/disrespectful to the native american race. I've heard it compared to naming a child Jew. I don't know if it's really that bad, but I think you should consider it.
Cheyenne always sounds like a dog's name to me. But if you use it, please use the traditional spelling. Your child will curse you in the future if you choose a unique spelling.
I like Sydney. I've been seeing this a lot lately, and I think it's cute.
Sydney! I like the nickname "Syd" like on Alias, which I am currently addicted to thanks to Netflix. ?
?I've taught a Cheyanne, and I always want to spell it Cheyenne like the Native American tribe or city. ?It doesnt let itself well to nicknames either.??
