My first pregnancy, I gained 35 lbs. This pregnancy, with twins and at 34 weeks, I have only gained 23 lbs. I am carrying a lot less water this time. I can still wear my wedding ring and see my ankles, both of which was impossible by 20 weeks with my first.
This is my second pregnancy. With my first son, I gained a total of 27 lbs. during the entire pregnancy. So far, at 34 weeks & 5 days pregnant with my second, I've only gained 8.5 lbs. At this point in my first pregnancy, I had gained about twice that amount and then some. How much have you gained so far and what number pregnancy is this for you?
I've gained nothing with both of my pregnancies.
You should probably practice some self control.
^^^That's what I would write if I was going to be a bitch.
My more serious answer is, it doesn't matter. Your weight gain compared to anyone else's weight gain is helpful to precisely no one. Did you just want to find out if anyone else has gained a low amount so you feel more confident about this pregnancy? Or did you want to feel superior to people who have gained more? Either way, odd motivations. If you're worried about weight gain, speak with your doctor. If you're not worried about weight gain, don't ask in a concern troll-type way. Thanks.

To everyone who has some nasty or snide remark, you didn't have to reply. The thread was clearly for those who wanted to disclose, not to brag about my LACK of weight gain in my second pregnancy or to be considered a "troll" as someone posted. This website serves as an open forum to discuss our differences and similarities, and to offer support through these fleeting months of our lives. If you have nothing positive to say, just keep it moving!

Well thank God you're here to let us know how The Bump works in just your second post. What a relief!
Everyone is entitled to their own feelings or opinions; I appreciate that. But being SNARKY is what I didn't like. There was no reason for anyone to be rude because of a question they felt was offensive. I didn't ask anyone the question directly; you answer the post at your own discretion.

For a second there, I forgot how incredibly hot Leo DiCaprio is. Thankfully, this thread was started to remind me. And also, this is my 4th kid, I've gained zero pounds, but grew 4 inches taller and now look exactly like Claudia Shiffer in the 80s. Pregnancy rocks!

My favorite part is that the OP DD'd, but then keeps coming back to read the comments here (thank you M15 for teaching me how to figure that out). How precious.

Say whattt? Well that is a cool trick. Thankfully I haven't tried to be stealth in this mug.

Re: Enjoy your pregnancy
With my first, I delivered at 41w and had gained a total of 31lbs.
This time, as of today at 36+6, I've gained 30lbs so far. AND I started out 10lbs heavier than I had with my DD.
