I got the new pump over the weekend (replacement) and used it today... and my output was worse!! I only got 10 ounces and I need 12!
This is the first time I've ever pumped less than LO needs. Okay now, i might be freaking out a bit

Hi everyone!
So i've been thinking that my PISA is malfunctioning for a little while and they are actually sending me a replacement even though they coudln't find anything wrong over the phone. There are a bunch of reasons why i think it wasn't working right and one of them is that in the last month, my left side has stopped feeling full and is about 2 sizes smaller than my right. LO doesn't seem to mind and it squirts occasionally but it still seemed so odd.
After pumping for 20 minutes just now I decided to try hand expressing to see what would happen. My right side still produced milk in little drops mostly, but my left side had quite a bit of milk in it still ! With just minor compression would squirt for a few seconds - like a good solid stream. It seemed like it hadn't really been emptied.
It seems odd to me but i'm no expert so i'm turning to you girls!
Should i be able to hand express a solid stream of milk after pumping for 20 minutes or is the pump not emptying me correctly?
I'm generally pretty bad at hand expressing so i was surprised so see how easily the milk was coming out.
Thanks!

Re: UPDATEd: Hand Expressing & Pumping
I also found that I need the membranes to be as fresh as possible and of course, the right size flanges. It makes a huge difference.
