DH and I met in high school, never dated but always liked each other. He joined the Navy and about 6 years later he resurfaced and we realized we lived only 2 hours from each other. When he got out, he came to visit me in NC and never left. We've been married a year and a half and together almost 3!

I had a role in a short film and he was an extra in it, playing a background bartender while I played the role of the wife of someone else. And there you have it! Married for a little over a year and a half now.

Uh World of Warcraft? Technically. M(future)H was living in a different state and playing with two of my real life friends. I played as well, and DH and I actually disliked each other a lot.

One of my friends got married, and MH and I met in person. We started dating 3 years ago, engaged for 9 days (yeah, he's military - deal with it) and married now for 1.5 years.

We both worked at Friendly's when I was in college

I was a server and he was the kitchen manager. We have been together over 7 years, married for almost 5. To this day, we get free ice cream when we visit the Friendly's where we worked together

We worked together. It was the kind of thing where work emails slowly transitioned to friendly emails. I swear, the first 2 months of "dating" was almost entirely via Blackberry messages before we finally worked up the courage to go on a date

We have been together for a little over 5 years. Our first wedding anniversary is coming up in October.

DH and I met through MySpace in March 2006. I had just gotten a tattoo and had changed my profile pic to the pic of the tattoo. He messaged me saying how cool it looked. We talked for 4 hours and made dinner plans for that weekend. We got married July 3, 2006, and found out I was preggo with DS a week later. We didn't waste any time. LOL, but I wouldn't change it for the world. We have been happily married for 8 years 2 months and 8 days. Sorry that the pic is sideways, I'm on mobile. This is us at Disneyland.

I was a teaching assistant for DH's chemistry class. We didnt talk much then because I only saw him once every other week for labs. We started dating a semester later after a frat party his house was hosting. We've been together for 7 years, married 9 months.

My dog.

DH was a vet tech at my veterinarian's office. My Italian greyhound broke his jaw (looking story) so I had to bring him in every few weeks for rechecks. After his last checkup and pin removal I gave DH my number. As it turned out, he was enrolled at my school for that fall, so we started hanging out on campus.

Two years later he proposed at a Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert ( during the opening bars of Christmas in Sarajevo). Six months after that we eloped. We've been married four years.

The Italian greyhound is still with us

We met on Facebook in a group for our college program. Then we talked online for a bit before meeting on campus and started dating about 3 months later. We've been together for almost 6 years and married for almost 2.

I first saw my H on 7/7/07; I was meeting some friends at their house for brunch, and he lived across the street and was outside. I thought he was cute and asked my friends what his deal was, and they said, "he's single and really nice, but he wouldn't like you. You're not his type." Whenever I was over there I suggested that they invite him over, and they kept saying no. Finally they invited him to one of their Christmas parties, and he came. That was December 2008. Now my H tells everyone I stalked him for a year and a half before we actually met for the first time.

Through a friend (already graduated), over the phone during my senior year of high school. We've been together 8 years and will have been married for three year this october.

My dad had just given me his old nextel it was my first cell phone. I was staying at a friends house because both my dad and grandma worked nights and I didn't want to stay home alone (We lived in the middle of nowhere and it freeked me out to be home alone at night.) Well the three of us wanted to play with my phone for the shear pleasure of hearing the beeping noise, yes we where werid. Anyways instead of giving it to someone in school, Missy gave it to one of her friends. So the next day I was at a kids birthday party and had no one my age to talk to so I called the stranger in my phone because I was so bored

Smart right. Well then he called me back the next day and the rest is history. Our first offical date was about 5 months later and it was my senior prom, he even asked me if I would be his GF.

Honestly when I called him I planned on only talking to him that one time, but he just kept calling me back.

We met in my basement. He worked with my best friend/housemate and we had thrown a big party. My friend wanted him to get with another one of our friends and I was interested in another guy, so we were introduced, but didn't even have a conversation. Six months later, I saw him again on my friend's birthday. I noticed then how cute he was and tried to talk to him, but couldn't think of anything to say--NOT a normal problem for me. He came to another party at our house two nights later and we started talking while we played flip cup on the same team--he says that I was bossing him around even then. We started dating immediately.

The second party was 8/20/2011; we got engaged 6/24/2012; and we got married 5/18/2013, so we've been together just over three years.

A Halloween party.

I was dressed as Moneypenny and he was James Bond. Instant and complete sexual attraction and we had our first date (and hour long car make-out) about a week later. (Lots of making out because H was a virgin when we met and we didn't have sex, he didn't feel ready, for almost 7 months.)

Funnily enough, since this was in a small college town where my friend had gone to and then worked for the college, we ended up having a lot of mutual friends. H was in school at the time (had just turned 21), and I was almost 25. So I stuck around and worked in town until he graduated and then he went into the Air Force (he was a ROTC kid), we lived together for a bit and then got engaged and planned our wedding.

We got married 4 years, almost to the day, after we met, and we've been married almost 2 years.
