Somehow a box of industrial staples dropped into the washer and DH didn't see...so a whole cardboard box of staple gun staples was washed last night with some polos and undershirts.

I have died every day waiting for you. Darling, don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years. And all along I believed I would find you, time has brought your heart to me. I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you a thousand more.

Black cats (fire crackers), screws, drill bits, those sticky toys from the 25 cent machines, wallets (yes plural) and last but NOT least our extra set of keys.
I'm awful at checking pockets as you can tell haha.

I think a Sharpie was the worst thing....not too many clothes got damaged but it was a pain cleaning all the streaks off the dryer walls. Staples sound like a huge pita.

That was fun.
Yikes, were the clothes ruined?
Amazingly the clothes seem fine? It wasn't anything that was too important but they were just sort of hanging on to come things, in the pockets of the shorts, but a lot were still in the bottom of the washer.
A glass ampule of lidocaine. Washed and dried it and it didn't break.

Re: Weirdest thing you've ever washed in the washer...
I hate when I accidentally wash Chapstick because I don't notice until it falls out of the dryer and all of our clothes are stained with melted wax.
