Weirdest thing you've ever washed in the washer...

Accidentally.

I think I might have the winner.

  • Flip flops, but I do it on purpose.
  • You totally win, Kate. What a bitch to clean up!

I hate when I accidentally wash Chapstick because I don't notice until it falls out of the dryer and all of our clothes are stained with melted wax.

Yes that is tied with gum for being the worst!

  • Somehow a box of industrial staples dropped into the washer and DH didn't see...so a whole cardboard box of staple gun staples was washed last night with some polos and undershirts.

    That was fun.
    Yikes, were the clothes ruined?
  • DD keeps putting things in there and then I don't notice when I load the machine... yesterday it  was a TON of rocks from our backyard *sigh*

This is farking brilliant! That is all.
  • Oh. I washed a disposable diaper not too long ago, that was a mess but at least I didn't poke holes in any clothes.
  • A dozen screws, a screw driver and a board book.
Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!

  • Black cats (fire crackers), screws, drill bits, those sticky toys from the 25 cent machines, wallets (yes plural) and last but NOT least our extra set of keys.

I'm awful at checking pockets as you can tell haha.

  • I think a Sharpie was the worst thing....not too many clothes got damaged but it was a pain cleaning all the streaks off the dryer walls. Staples sound like a huge pita.

Amazingly the clothes seem fine? It wasn't anything that was too important but they were just sort of hanging on to come things, in the pockets of the shorts, but a lot were still in the bottom of the washer.
  • Cash, wallet, binkies, keys, receipts, tissues (what a mess), lipstick, and a candy cane.
  • Mulch, pine cones, rocks, screws, washers, nuts & bolts, zip ties- all from my sons' pockets.  From my Husband watches, Kleenex, lighters,
  • Keys, wallets, guitar picks (like everytime), tissues, paper
