Should I be offended that my DD screams when I'm holding her to get her to fall asleep for a nap but as soon as I put her down in her cradle she stops screaming?

@kam3100, no! She may just be getting overstimulated from being rocked or whatever you do with her. It might even work better in the future if she prefers to go to sleep on her own rather than rely on a sleep crutch. I'd just take advantage of the snuggles and rocking when she's not as sleepy!

I even have friends in the "Thr33 Days Dead" movie. It's so crazy to see so much scenery from a town I'm extremely familiar with. I'm super happy for him. He's had a tough go of it. It's great to see success come from his persistence.

Anyone else feel bad about putting headbands on their little girls?! I put it on her and then I just feel like she is uncomfortable (in reality, i'm sure she doesn't even know it's there). I spent a small fortune on headbands before this kid was born and now i'm all psycho and don't even want to use them! I need to get over this.

I didn't even know rob zombie made music! Just really weird horror movies lol.

Do any of you guys like female lead singers or bands? I made it a mission of mine to find as many female rock, heavy metal, etc singers that I could.

@jensavicci‌ - In This Moment is super hardcore, but the female singer is really awesome and super hot. They were amazing in concert.

Completely forgot to go get my firstborn from school today. Realised halfway there I'd forgotten the carseat. Thankfully the MiL was near the house and got the seat then the child while I quietly had a meltdown.

It probably belongs in Bad Mom Monday or FFFC but it's Wednesday. Meh.

Crazy shit!

The last apt complex I worked at there was this lovely older couple I fell in love with them. So genuine and sweet! We talked about families and a ton of other stuff.

Then the man talking about how much he loves his granddaughter, and how his daughter had just divorced the dad. He said you might know of him. I was thinking how in the hell would I know him? lol!! The he said her dad is the lead singer from Korn. Have you heard of them?? I was like ummmm yeahhhhh!!!! The fuck?! Who hasn't? Lol!

Then I was all, that's so neat!!! Do you still see him often? He like "oh yea". I told him well if he ever comes to visit is ex-in laws in Houston. Bring him to our office. Ha!!

Flyleaf is my shit!!! I went to their concert and did covers to all around me and fully alive a while back. I also love me some korn. I became obsessed with their music after seeing queen of the damned. Their music is so sexy lol in a dark way.

Had 8 week checkup. Milo has a funny Y shaped butt crack w sacral dimples. Pedi took pics to send to a specialist to see if we need to do anything further. Trying not to be too nervous. He's a pretty happy kiddo.

I'm going old school with Kittie. Used to love them and the lead singer could scream with the rest of them. Loved Flyleaf too.

So, my LO had his 2 month check up today. He weighed in at 14 lbs, 4 oz and is 23 1/2 in long. I am actually surprised he only weighed that. I thought he was going to be 15, easy. He's also right on track with his milestones. I love my little chub chubs. To the ladies with concerns about their LO's, I hope it turns out to be nothing and that your babes are completely healthy.

When F is hungry he screams exactly like you would imagine an infant is screaming when they are being pinched really hard. It's like a high pitched frantic squeal.

I'm afraid he's going to do it while we are out somewhere and everyone is going to think I just abused him.

Ahh! Finally got my 2 1/2 year old son potty trained!! It has been over a week, only 2 accidents and he stays dry at nap and bedtime! He has been ready for sometime but laziness on my part and his has prevented it sooner. It is soo nice to only have to change one kid's diaper.
