My decaf is every bit as good as regular coffee. I bet you couldn't taste a difference. Good decaf should cost more than regular coffee, because it has more labor involved. If it doesn't they're probably using worse beans for decaf. It should also be Swiss water processed vs chemically processed. I get the 365 brand at whole foods because it's way cheaper (6 dollars a pound or so) and nice and fresh because they have high turnover. I buy whole beans and grind it fresh for each cup. I brew either with the French press, stove top espresso maker, or aero press.

I like how not a single person love peened SAK's FFMC.

I know it's Tuesday, but I wanted to update on the pumpkin spice syrup. It's good! I think next time though I will double the pumpkin and the spice, then use less. It's a little too sweet for my taste, but I don't usually sweeten my coffee. I put it in French Vanilla coffee, and it pairs really nicely. I might even put vanilla in it next time. Also I made mine on the stove not the microwave, because I'm fancy pants like that, so I might just simmer a vanilla bean in there. Yum!

Oh man. G is so sensitive to caffeine TJ. I didn't drink more than a 12 oz soda once a week for the first year of his life. Since then I'm able to have one coffee in the mornings without bothering him. I hope it's just a fluke for P!

Its possible. I used to wonder about this theory - but then M weaned and is still up all night. Though at her age its probably partly just habit. P is little so it could be...but could also have been random(onimum).

I LOVE that this is a word now. @mandmeesh is awesome!

She was in her brand new armadillo (with no fluff pic, mh changed her) so she was probably adorably sweaty and uncomfortable.

@mapleme It's always just so darn hard to tell with P. Usually, if she's up it's because I ate something wrong. I swear I didn't eat anything wrong yesterday, but my tummy was telling me that I did, and P was up all night. But I've gone over and over and over my food, and can't find anything. So I'm going to chalk it up to the afternoon coffee this time, and maybe try it again another day, if I need it.

I was up last night as well from 1 until 3 with my son.

So I may have gotten 3 hours last night.

I'm going to try to limit my caffeine this morning and switch to water in the afternoon.

Hey @mapleme. You know how you can use those little paper liners for muffins and cupcakes? And sometimes they work great and the muffin/cupcake peels right out? Sometimes (especially with my alternative baking) the liner sticks really badly to the cupcake. Is there something specific that causes this?

Also, mighty tasty granola makes a mighty tasty topping for pumpkin muffins. Just sprinkle on top before baking. Yum!
