Yeah, it is ridic. I grew up in New York City so it isn't quite at those levels, but close. I work in Tysons Corner.

My husband was actually talking just yesterday about moving to like, Haymarket or Manassas or something cause it would be cheaper. This was after we had a discussion about how much daycare will cost. Ugh.

I lived in Alexandria for awhile and LOVED it there. Who knows, may end up back there for a little while depending on what the military has in store for us next summer.

I used to work in Tysons Corner at NADA and remember when Tysons Mall was one level. I actually grew up in Loudoun County, bought bought a townhouse and lived in Gainesville before moving to Atlanta. Dang, I miss that area. Giant still has my favorite cookies, too. My sister brought me some when she was up there in June since Giant is the only store that sells them (from their bakery).

H and I spent years in DC, DuPont Circle area. We miss it a lot. Hoping to do at least one more tour there (H works or Dept. of State so we move every 2-3 years).

You didn't say anything that annoyed me at all. I had just noticed that you were love-titting a rant that basically called us all bitches so I was just curious why, if you agree with her, are you interested to know more about us?

Right, I gotcha. I guess I was just giving kudos for having the guts to announce that kinda stuff. Didn't really read into it too much though. Just had a good giggle at the goats. Am loving this forum though. Got addicted right away lol.
