Here we go again..(Spoiler Alert-BFP)

Hello my sweet girls!

First of all, I want to update everyone on my nephew! He is doing well, he finally peed on his own so they aren't worried about his urethra. Much of the swelling has gone down, and it is looking better by the day, however we still won't know much until next week when he goes to the doctor, which is Monday I believe.

Secondly... Thank you ladies for being such a tremendous support group. I love you all! I have learned so much from each of you! Without you, this past year would have been hell.

To end all of the suspense here is my big news...

I decided to test , because DH would not stop pestering me to POAS since I was a week late. I went out and bought cheapies from the dollar store. To my absolute surprise... BFP!! I literally was not expecting it at all! We had sex MAYBE 4 times all month, and 3 days before O at that... I was, and am beyond shocked. We went to the Dr this morning for confirmation. I opted out of a beta, because DH was already stressing out and said that waiting for numbers would stress him even more... I feel pretty confident with this decision, as I haven't been spotting at all, nor have I been cramping. nothing at all like the last two pregnancies. I am taking things a day at a time, and trying not to stress too much... right now I just want to cautiously enjoy the fact that we FINALLY made a baby. All when I had literally given up hope and said F it all I'm done.

Again, I would not of made it here emotionally without you ladies! I am sad to leave, but at the same time I am excited for our new journey... Nothing but THE best of wishes to all of you!

Can I ask how the doctor confirmed the pregnancy without a beta? I ask as I sit here in beta hell...

Most Drs don't do betas without a reason, so she just POAS at the office.

Ah interesting, mine does bloodwork if you opt to come in for an appt, otherwise you just come in around 12 weeks.

First pregnancy my place just did a POAS, but I was already like 11wks at that time anyway. It's weird some places like to see you early like 6wks, other places won't see you until after 10wks, etc. This last pregnancy I called a new OB because my old one shut down- they wanted me to come in at 6wks, I was like DAFAQ FOR? lol

yes, what @potatocastillo said, I just poas at the ob office.

She said unless I start having complications there is really no reason for me to... so we are going with it.
