Has LO's Eye Color Changed?

We are getting to the age where eye color starts to change... So I am wondering if your LO's eye color has changed since birth. Have they become lighter, darker, more blue, grey, brown, or green? Or are they still the same? What color do you think they will settle on?

They look so similar to birth, but I know they have because he has developed a single brown spot in the iris. The rest of his eyes are still pretty slate, kind of bluish. Everyone in my family has weird eyes without an obvious color, so I guess he's just following suit.

They are grayish blue on the outside and there are tinges of brown towards her pupil. We think they are going to be hazel. I have brown, he has blue, FIL has hazel, Both our moms are blue, and my dad has brown.

When she was born she had those dark grey/blue eyes, then then started getting darker/brown and now they are getting lighter again, but going hazel/green.
I am thinking they will go green, not hazel but we will see.

The haven't changed much, maybe a little lighter.

Both of my kids have blue eyes, even though mine are brown. Never thought I would have blue eyed babies!

His eyes are still blue. I have blue eyes and my husband has blue gray eyes so I'm hoping that they stay blue. When do eye colors typically change?

LOs eyes were very dark gray when she was born. They have lightened a lot - now they look light gray/green depending on the light, with light brown around the pupil. I have dark brown eyes and DH has bluish green, so it will be interesting to see what happens

My guess is that they will be hazel.

They were really dark blue when she was born and now they're lighter, but still blue. I have blue and MH has green. They don't look the least bit green though.

Lo's were definitely blue when born but now I don't know what they are....I think they're gonna be hazel like daddy's since they're kinda greenish grey. I was hoping she'd get.my dark brown. My FIL joked that the grandkid with blue eyes gets something special in Papa's will, since he's got blue eyes.

LO's eyes were slate gray at birth, just like her older sister's, but now they are slowly turning brown.

LO had these amazing steel grey eyes when he was born. They slowly got very blue, and now have changed back to grey but have little lines of light brown in them. It's a toss up if he will have hazel-y or light brown. Daddy has brown, I've got grey....the whole family thinks they will be hazel but I've got my $$ on light brown with maybe just a tad of grey

I thought if both parents have blue eyes, dont the LO have to have blue eyes too?

I think eye color is fixed by 9 months, but I forget and am too lazy to Google.

J's eyes started out very dark grey and are now a medium blue like mine. Both of us have blue eyes so his will likely stay some shade of blue.

I say eye colour can keep changing for at least 41 years.

LO's eyes are still bright blue. He is 5 months.
DS1's are a light green/hazel colour and still kind of changing at 21 months.
DD's seemed to settle to a light blue around 2 years.

My eyes are hazel (one tends to be more brownish and one greenish).
DH's are hazel/green.
ExH has brown. (DD's dad)

Parental eye colour doesn't necessarily determine child's eye colour. There are soooooo many 'switches' that flip in determining the final shade.
All my siblings have blue eyes and dark hair...I'm blonde and was born with medium brown eyes that over many years have lightened a lot.
Dad's are light blue, mom's were dark brown.

My LO's eye change every day. They go from blue, to gray, to green, to brown, and back to blue. I think they will eventually settle on hazel.

I put no, but I guess they have lightened up a little bit. She had grayish blue eyes when she was born, and now they are a brighter blue like her daddy's. Mine are brown, but so far I don't really see them heading in that direction.

Lo still has the same slate grey eyes. Mine are green hazel and DH are a light brown. here's to hoping they lighter!!

I feel like this is how my little guy eye's are. They are blue rimmed and brownish - but sometimes I see green. They are not dark brown like mine. DH eye's are blue.
