Re: Pregnancy/Delivery: The gift that keeps on giving

  • For those with burning at tear site. ... have you been able to have sex yet? I'm 8 weeks pp and haven't been able to take the plunge cuz the burning freaks me out but didn't know if maybe I just need to go for it and it will go away?

Besides that i have a dark Linea Negra, leaky pee, BO, still a touch of malasma, and haven't gotten the period. Period needs to come cuz its making me nervous

I was told I had some slight tearing (and also had an episiotomy) and I feel a burning sensation where I think the tears are. I'm 11 weeks pp and we've had sex once, and it wasn't the most pleasant experience. We've tried twice since then and it's too uncomfortable for me to let him get all the way in. I'm planning to go back to the OB and make sure everything is healing properly. :-/

  • @emotionlotion‌ - my entire belly is darker than normal but my belly button is especially dark and crazy dry. I did have an outie, but not until month 7 or 8.
  • I have joint pain in my fingers and knees. It feels like I still have a tiny foot stuck in my ribs, my feet won't fit in my shoes, wedding ring doesn't fit. My abs are so weak and my belly is disgustingly stretch marked and saggy. Does the sag ever go away?!

  • I have the dark belly button, the stretch marks and saggy belly, sex once and well...it wasn't amazing, boobs hurt from breastfeeding and are massive, nothing fits, pubic bone pain. The one I haven't seen...my Achilles' tendon and foot hurt, worst in morning, on my left foot. I'm hoping that goes away soon bc I want to resume running now that I'm cleared to exercise. Anyone else have issues with heels/Achilles/feet?

  • @jsnyder79‌ my feet feel achy and almost arthritic in the morning or if I sit too long but it improves with movement. Hopefully it won't affect your working out but maybe look up stretches for plantar fasciitis.

I've been blessed with wider hips, dark belly button, and more noticeable spider veins. Also my boobs look like they have road maps on them with all the veins....gross!
  • Pain in pubic bone when running, section scar is itchy but numb so I can't scratch the itch!!!

  • Rings still don't fit. Carpal tunnel and hip pain came back the other day, and my first thought was "Oh shit I'm pregnant again!". Have not taken a test because if I am I'd rather be blissfully ignorant to it for now. Also think my epidural nicked a nerve or something. When I got my epidural I had this weird sensation on my leg near my right ankle, right where the band of my sock was. I had my dh take my socks off because I thought that would get rid of the crawly, tingly sensation I had. Well I still randomly get this feeling that a bug is crawling on me on that same spot. I catch myself swiping at my ankle several times a day. Hoping it goes away eventually.

  • Do you still have the trigger finger? My carpel tunnel went away at about 8 weeks but then I got stiff thumbs that pop when I straighten them.

    I still have it. Booo.

  • My thumb and wrist hurt like a B on my right hand. I have to wear a wrist support to help stabilize it. I have a gross saggy stomach with stretch marked skin. I still basically only fit into maternity clothes with the exception of a few loose pre-preg tops. On the plus side, my hair, skin, and complexion has never been better.

  • And of course I have one... TMI but I'm desperate to hear if anyone else has survived this! Yep, I got the dreaded anal fissure. Horrible, horrible, horrible. I have my six week appt tomorrow and can not wait to get a referral to a colorectal surgeon. Worse than delivery.
@InternationalKate Not trying to be a buzz kill here but I had a c/s and still got a fissure. Lincoln is 3 now and I am still dealing with it. Hopefully you can avoid surgery. My surgeon has been working with me for three years to avoid surgery and thus far we have been successful. Surgery for someone young like us is not ideal even though it might seem like anything is better than the AWFUL pain from the fissure.
