  I'm just recalling the times that Christians have murdered Muslims and Jews.
  
  I'm a Christian (but not a CHRISTIAN Christian, according to the criteria of the one true Christian) and I would never ever identify with the people who murder in the name of their religion. I know plenty of Muslims who feel the same way.

  You have zero grasp on what persecution of faith is. You are an American citizen. At this point in time an attack on US citizens is considered an act of terrorism and would not be tolerated in this country Christian or otherwise. Meanwhile we have brothers and sisters in other countries being shot and tortured and raped and cut into bits for even having a bible in their home or speaking the name of Jesus. You haven't got the slightest idea of the faith those people have and your fear of "persecution" is an insult to what those people go through. And the ones I speak of are not even persecuted by Islam.
  
  Your blatant grouping of ISIS into the whole of Islam is not only insulting to that religion but it is equivalent to saying that a rabid dog hurt someone therefore all dogs must be evil.
