    I just looked at mine for the second time today!  My shower is in 2 weeks...RSVPs are due tomorrow.  So far all of the "Big" stuff (car seat, stroller, high chair) are gone...and we have the crib already...but come on people!!! Two weeks!  I need that other stuff too!! LOL...guess I'll go stalk Pinterest for a while now...

    I created a registry just for the completion discounts not expecting a shower. And also as a way to keep track of what we'd need to buy. I'm in the boat though of if we had been given a shower I would of wanted the information on the invites because I researched a bunch of stuff to death, we are cloth diapering but with a small stash of environmentally friendly disposables just in case, and going gender neutral but with bold colors. I did make it public so if folks wanted ideas they'd have something. So far it's only come in handy when my MIL was asking what we needed. Was pretty stoked when I saw they sprung for the Snuza Trio since it was one of the last big ticket items we hadn't bought ourselves yet. I'd probably be unable to resist looking what got bought if we had a shower but would hope I could avoid checking who bought what.

    I think it comes 8-10 weeks after your due date that is listed on the registry.

    I just had my baby shower this past weekend, and I definitely kept track of my registry! I traveled for the shower so most people had gifts shipped to me and didn't bring anything with them (some brought gifts that were small enough for me to fly home with). Keeping track makes it easier to stay organized and timely with thank you cards, too!
