Saturday randoms

The children slept until 615! This is a win in my house!

But I had a nightmare that someone was in our house at 3:00am so there was no sleep for mommy after that :(

DD is dragging around a bag full of toys and when I asked her why she said "Barbie needs all the things".

ALL THE THINGS!

Also, I was browsing the FFFC thread and I don't get the whole ship/shipper thing so I must've missed something but I puffy heart 1D... Someone explain pretty please

    DS woke up saying his right thigh hurt. It's not swollen and there are no marks, but it is HOT to the touch and he turned down a playground.

    I'm a bit freaked. I can't think of any falls yesterday. The only unusual thing was his vaccines, which were in his arm.

    I'm letting him chill and hoping it improves.

    Maybe he just slept funny and it is hot from laying on it?? Idk it's all I could think of lol. Hope it goes away!

    Right? I can't think of anything. I'm trying not to react so he won't play it up, but he's sliding around backwards on his bottom so he doesn't have to bend that leg.

    I called DH and am waiting on a call back.

    Yeah I agree to try not to react. I would try to wait it out and then if he doesn't stop I would call the pedi I guess. So odd though that it would be hot but have no other sign. Cod he have a bite of some sort? Usually there would be a visible lump though. Hmmm

    I LOVE craft fairs!! I'm excited for fall because we have a fee really good ones around here. Have fun!

    Probably not doing anything today. Feeling rather broke because of several unexpected expenses (including a $3000 transmission) and just exhausted in general. You can just tell my kid needs to get out though... We'll see.

    We are up watching Brave. It's the first time we've seen it. I woke up to a sore throat so I'm not sure what the rest of the day holds. Probably a kohls and old navy run.

    We had a birthday party to take DD too--but we had to cancel on it. Her immune system is just too low--especially for the venue that it is at (the boardwalk and the aquarium). I am sad for her. She didn't know about it, but I know she would have loved the party.

    @angelashly‌ I hope your throat stops hurting!

    @olp920‌ Can you look for free or cheap events today? Hit up a new park? Many libraries will have reduce rate museum passes. Perhaps check that out? The library?

    It's hard to be broke and want to go do something.

    Do you have a Home Depot near you? There's a free kid's building workshop there today. That could be one stop.

    I have a cough and I got punched in the eye by my toddler. Chick needs to learn a little spacial awareness. I think DH is doing yard work today, so the kids and I will hang out inside mostly so as not to get in his way and because it's hot. I might take them to bed bath and beyond because I need spring form pans.

    Thanks everyone. The good side is we never told her about the party, because we knew it would be iffy up until a few days before. Once we found out how compromised her immune system was on Wednesday, that made the decision for us. 


    So we are stuck at home today and tomorrow. Which means unlimited TV/Ipad time.

    I think I'm just going to stick around the house and straighten up today.  My husband just left for work and I'm kind of glad.  He's annoying me this morning.

    I need to get in touch with my MIL and work out logistics for tonight.  L is going to spend the night over there so I can go to the concert.

    I do! I think my son might be too young but I'll drop by and see. I know there's fall festivals starting soon. Sail fest tonight nearby. I'll find the motivation to do SOMETHING.

    Dealing with a poop explosion this morning before my coffee is even ready, so this day is off to a good start lol

    Taking DD2 for her 1st day on a new bowling league. She is so excited! Its not till 1:30 tho, so just cleaning/laundry/being lazy till its time to go.

    A trip to the grocery sans kids after MH gets off work are my big Saturday night plans. I really need a life. & an abundance of cash to do fun stuff whenever I want!
