I was in really good shape before I got Prego, then I ate all the food and gain between 55 adn 60. I have lost it fairly easily, but I am all flabby so I look heavier.
I started at 156 and topped out at 210. Although once I went on bed rest I lost 8 pounds of swelling/ water weight in like 2 days. Delivery day I was 202.
My dr never once told me to aim for x number. She told me straight up from the first apt that I was going to gain a good bit.

Add - A lot of mine came in the last half of the second trimester and thrid trimester. My doctor actually had a "talk" with me. I left that appt. in tears, called work to say I wasn't coming back, went to Smach Burger and ate my feelings.
ETA: I was also sick the entire time throwing up and ended up in the hospital twice for fluids. I lived on zofran. No idea how I gained so much. #maybethepacksoforeosidowneddaily
I gained 20ish, thanks GD diet (god damn, gestational diabetes, you pick). I gained more since, unfortunately, instead of getting closer to my pre-preg weight. I miss the gym, but I'm prioritizing sleep more these days.
At my last OB appt before delivery I was up about 20-25lbs, at about 28 weeks. When I had LO at 29-6, they weighed me at the hospital, but I never saw it. I know it was quite a bit higher, but don't know what. It was all fluids from the pre-e. At two weeks pp, I was 7 away from pp weight, so lost the fluid quick.
I gained about 25 pounds. Which is what I gained with DD1. This time around they didn't tell me anything about gaining weight. With DD1, we were in a different state so a different OB and the first appointment I went to was with one of the midwives and she told me that it wouldn't be bad if I gained at least 50lbs. I left that appointment thinking 'yeah right' and I gained about half that and never worried one bit.
