When was your wedding? March 2012. Expecting the best anniversary gift ever!

Where did you go for your honeymoon? Maui! It was gorgeous and we had a great time!
What did your dress and bridesmaids dresses look like? My bridesmaids wore red tea length dresses that they actually picked out. Not much about my dress. It was a white wedding dress with some beading on the top.
How about your cake? The yummiest cake ever. 4 tier white cake with small red rose buds all over it.
Where did you go for your honeymoon? We didn't honeymoon. We had my husbands grandmother in from out of state for two weeks and spent our vacation time with her. We had a blast taking her all over and loved having her with us.

My wedding was September of 2012. We got married on our one year anniversary on the beach in Coronado. I had a custom Matthew Christopher gown that I turned into a mermaid from a ball gown silhouette. I had fuchsia Jimmy Choo pumps! Bridesmaids we're all different styles and cuts, but all chiffon and went from light grey to charcoal to black. They had violet blue Fergie pumps with hot pink soles! Peacock feathers were incorporated since that was the design in the embroidery and beading of my dress. My cake was fuchsia and three tiered with crystals and a hand painted peacock feather design. It was magical!!! Then we got to spend 9 days in Costa Rica. I get sad that we'll never get to have that experience again, but so happy that I married my best friend and got the wedding of my dreams! See some of my favorite pics below!
What did your dress and bridesmaids dresses look like?
I told them to get whatever they wanted, in a dusty rose. Turns out they all did an amazing job co-ordinating and everyone looked fantastic together!
I had two dresses. An A-line lace one for the reception in the vineyard, and a more puffy one for the reception. Long story. I was suckered into buying the lace dress off the rack when I was by myself one day, and I took it home and decided I hated it. So found another one for an amazing deal, and the two together cost the same as what I'd been planning to spend. So neither one was ideal, but it was still fun to have two!
How about your cake?
Had a smaller cake, with a custom sheep cake topper that was actually moulded out of clay by our amazing cake baker. Me and my husband kind of have a special thing with sheep, so I surprised him with it at the wedding! Then we just had a sweets table with cupcakes and other goodies.
Where did you go for your honeymoon?
Italy, France and Spain! We waited a year to be able to save up the money and plan properly, but it was incredible!

Gladly!
We got married at a winery in Niagara on the Lake. It rained ALL DAY LONG so everything had to be moved indoor, but it was still perfect!
What did your dress and bridesmaids dresses look like?
It was strapless ivory with light dusty pink lace overlay (see picture), so it looked pink indoors, but I discovered on the day of the wedding that it actually looks ivory outdoors, which is where my wedding took place. The bridesmaids dresses were light blue from David's bridal. I let them pick their own style, so they all had different dresses, but in the same color.
February 16, 2007. Courthouse!!! My husbands visa was about to run out and we needed to get him a greencard! We met and married within six months. Crazy, best decision i ever made. Had a big family dinner after with the best chocolate wedding cake. We went for a weekend getaway after on the California central coast. A couple months later we had a big reception with extended family and friends. It was perfect.
What did your dress and bridesmaids dresses look like? My dress was forgettable, I liked it when I got it but not on the wedding day. It was strapless (though I had my aunt add straps), satin A-line, sweetheart neckline, white flower at the waist. My 5 bridesmaids were in 5 shades of blue- sky blue, aqua, royal blue, dark cobalt, and navy. It was perfect and they were gorgeous. All different dresses but all around knee length.
How about your cake? We had 3 flavors of cupcakes- chocolate with chocolate hazelnut frosting, vanilla with salted caramel frosting, and pumpkin with cream cheese frosting. SO good!
Where did you go for your honeymoon? Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Wow, there are some seriously sexy, classy mamas around here! I don't know if anyone's coming back to this thread since it's yesterday's news for most of you, but oh well, I'm a bored insomniac and I wanna play! My wedding date: May 16, 2009 My dress & bridesmaids' dresses: I got mine off-the-rack WAY under budget. It was one of the first ones I tried on and after trying many others, I realized it was the only one that felt like I was wearing it instead of the other way around. Simple, sweetheart strapless with beading on the bodice, a ruched beige band around the middle, and plain ivory satin A-line bottom with a small train. Bridesmaids all wore bright turquoise dresses made by mom. They each had a different bodice with the same skirt. My cake: 3 (or maybe 4?) offset square tiers with a big pearlescent fondant sash draped down it, ribbons around each tier, and fondant calla lilies. It sounds busy but it was mostly monochromatic, so it was really quite elegant. Oh, and the best part - marble white and chocolate cake with buttercream frosting underneath. AMAZING. Where we honeymooned: Oahu for 10 days. It was DH's first flight ever. We fell in love with the North Shore and would live there if we could.
We got married in April this year all the bridesmaids dresses were purple (different styles) my dress was all in lace comfortable and beautiful! our cake was a tree truck with our initials "carved" into it looked amazing!!! Honey moon was 7 full days at a 5 star resort in Mauritius AMAZING!!!!! Ohh And we had a cheetah as a ring bearer

When was your wedding? Month/Year May 2012; destination wedding in Honolulu HI
What did your dress and bridesmaids dresses look like? My dress: ivory coloured, all lace, empire/a-line, with a little beading under the boobs, no train No bridesmaids
How about your cake? No cake. We had a 40 ppl reception back home 2 weeks after our wedding. The restaurant made awesome desserts. No need for cake and too cheap to get wedding cake. So for my favour, it's a little face towel all rolled up shaped like a slice of cake with a strawberry magnet on top. practical.
Where did you go for your honeymoon? Destination wedding, kinda honeymoon in Hawaii. After the wedding, hubby and took a 1 week cruise and went to all the major islands. But since it didn't quite feel like a honeymoon, we took a big trip last year to Greece/Turkey/Jordan and had an adventure of a lifetime.
What did your dress and bridesmaids dresses look like?
My dress had a corset top with a little bit of beading and pearls, and a chapel length train. It was very pretty and flattering, BUT somehow it got mascara all over the front of it (I suspect a bridesmaid dropped her mascara wand, but nobody fessed up) right before pictures and my ceremony. My mother covered all of the spots with whiteout, which worked surprisingly well. So I got married in a one of a kind, arts and crafts dress...
My bridesmaids wore black dresses. I had a red rose bouquet, and they had red and white rose bouquets.
How about your cake?
The cake was all white with a fancy white frosting design on it, and each tier had real red
roses. I loved it.
Where did you go for your honeymoon?
An all inclusive in St. Lucia. So much fun! We went zip lining and hiking through the rainforest. It was the perfect of combo of relaxation and adventure.

Omg I'm jealous! We tried to have a tiger at our wedding but it was gonna cost us $6,000! Instead, we took our engagement photos at the San Diego Wild Animal Park.
Oh wow that must have been amazing tho!!! Do u have lots of photos with the animals?? Did they let u go into the enclosures?? Never heard of photos as a zoo that's very cool!! Our wedding was at a game reserve the rest of our photos are all "in the bush" we got a few with giraffes and buck in the background but the Anthony the cheetah was definitely the highlight!
What did your dress and bridesmaids dresses look like? My dress was sweetheart neckline all lace with a belt with crystals. Bridesmaids all wore light pink sweetheart neckline dresses.
How about your cake? Ruffles! Light pink ruffle cake. Red velvet and cream cheese frosting--my fav! Grooms cake was a ski hill with little skiers and trees all over it (he loves skiing).
Where did you go for your honeymoon? Sandals in Antigua! Such a fun and relaxing trip. Lots of food, booze, and beach!
Late to the game, but I want to play! However, my computer is refusing to upload any pics right now! I've tried like 5 times. Oh well.
Everyone's weddings look so gorgeous!!
My wedding was June 25, 2011. The church was in an outdoor church on a lake and the reception was at a restaurant (also on the lake) with horse pastures.
My dress was a form fitting A line. It was strapless with lots of lace, beading, and 3D flowers. Kind of vintage-y and unique without being super trendy. I loved it!
My bridesmaids were asked to wear a combo of light pink, grey, and cream and could buy any dress they wanted as long as I gave it the OK (just made sure it didn't clash with the others).
MH and I designed my cake to look like a bird cage. I absolutely love how it turned out!

Wedding August 2002, we just celebrated out 12th anniversary last weekend!
Dress: no fancy designer, and I don't remember dress terms, the train had lace cut outs and had buttons down the back, alas I don't have a photo available of the train.
Bridesmaids: Short sleve hunter green dresses, very simple, no embellishments.
Cake: A "princess torte" a white chiffon cake with lemon curd and raspberry jam filling and it had marzipan over top (to hell with buttercream!) It was so good. It was 3 layers and had fresh flowers for decoration. It was also supposed to have green ivy piped on it but I didn't notice until 3 years later that it was missing in the photos.
Honeymoon: DH just started a new job so we couldn't go anywhere far (nor had the money left over) we went to an Amusement Park in Des Moines/Altoona, Iowa for a couple of days.
When was your wedding? Month/Year

Where did you go for your honeymoon? We went to San Diego. Had a great time!
Beautiful! I'm always intrigued by winter weddings, mostly because I HATE being cold and can't imagine being happy and comfortable when it's 20* outside. We had actually considered a 12/13/14 wedding because we got engaged on 11/12/13, but I couldn't deal, lol.
What did your dress and bridesmaids dresses look like? My dress was an ivory lace, fit and flare dress with a grey belt and ivory flowers. I fell in love with it the minute I saw it. I also went way over budget, but I still don't care. My bridesmaids wore turquoise chiffon knee-length strapless dresses. They had attachable spaghetti straps which most put on after the ceremony.
How about your cake? Our cake was three tiers, one chocolate, one vanilla, and one carrot, pale yellow with turquoise accents and cherry blossom flowers. Delicious!

It was strapless ivory with light dusty pink lace overlay (see picture), so it looked pink indoors, but I discovered on the day of the wedding that it actually looks ivory outdoors, which is where my wedding took place.
