I'm finishing up my doctorate in clinical psychology. Soon to be a psychologist, and I work with children, adolescents, families, and have experience working with serious mental illness and in prisons. Ready to be done with this never ending path of school!
I am currently a SAHM but I was a kindergarten teacher. I have my masters in education. I'm planning on venturing into the children's clothing industry soon.
I'm a 2nd grade teacher at a year round school....the schedule will keep me going when I have to go back to work since I'll get time with LO every 9 weeks.
I am a bid coordinator for a construction company. Which means I basically get paid to hang out on Facebook and Pinterest all day. I am going back 1-3 days a week depending on what projects we have going on. I am going back to school to become a nurse though. I would love to work as a labor/delivery nurse.
In the words of Romy and Michelle: What GREAT jobs! (I'm on mobile or I'd GIF it)
I work for a large scrap metal recycling company. I'm the sole person in my office and am in charge of paying 200-300+ customers a day(cash, counted by hand), weighing trucks, handling all paperwork for inbound and outbound loads (anywhere from pickups to semi loads if material), customer service, office management B.S. (time cards, raises, write ups, etc) and anything else they can think if piling on me. I'm supposed to make popcorn for customers everyday also, but, ain't nobody got time for that!
I'm in the mortgage industry. Help people get into houses. It can be stressful, but it's a lot of problem solving and I enjoy that part of my day a lot.
I was a full time SAHM for 8 years and coached gymnastics on the side. Once we moved closer to family 3 years ago I decided to open my own gym. We are now expanding from a very small program to building our own 11,000 square foot building! We signed on our construction loan 3 days after LO was born. The best part is that although I am working more than full time now I can do it with LO in tow. It is the best of both worlds for me!
I have my bachelor degree in criminal justice but decided to start my family over a career. Right now I am a server at bob Evans on the weekends for extra cash while my husband works during the week. Its nice not to need daycare and its also nice to get out of the house and be around adults a few days a week!
I am a SAHM, but before dd was born I was a corporate recruiter for a huge online retailer. I loved it and plan on going back to work when DS is about one.
In between jobs ATM but making the switch from a starbucks barista to working at the county children's crisis center assisting social workers and doing respite care for at risk kiddos from birth to 5
I was an elementary principal last year but when I return from maternity leave I will be Director of Academic Achievement for my school district. My main roles will be curriculum, assessment and resident educator(working with new teachers). I am excited for the new role as I love putting on professional development and working with teachers.
Im a wanna be SAHM, but since that'll never happen, I'm the executive assistant at a large, nonprofit mental health agency. It's a busy job, but I love the people I work with and it's always interesting. Not looking forward to going back in a few weeks and leaving my baby girl!
Im currently working part time at TJ maxx and going to school to become a preschool teacher, i was going for nursing but after i got pregnant i decided to switch so i could stay at home with LO and do all my classes online, which wasn't an option for nursing, but when he's older and in school i plan on going back to it and reach my goals and dreams ive always wanted of working in an ER and ultimately become a flight nurse.
I'm currently on a yearlong leave of absence from my job as a high school English teacher. It's the best of both worlds -- I get to be home for the first year of my last baby's life but I also get to return to the job I love next fall.
I am an engineer (BS in Mechanical Engineering). I design control systems for power plant and industrial turbines (mostly steam and gas turbines with some hydro). I work for a large multinational company. I love my job.
Up until this munchkin, I was a barista for money, working toward a languages degree to make my family happy.
I moved to the US while pregnant and started doing transcription and proofreading from home for pocket money (the OH works to pay the bills) but thanks to really supportive in-laws, I'm looking to follow my actual life-long dream of training to become a motorcycle/small engine mechanic.
I work in IT as a network and systems administrator. Right now I'm fortunate to work part time from home so I can stay home with my kids as well. I do miss the hands on work, like actually installing new systems, but I don't miss the long hours and being on call overnight.
I'm a chemical engineer working as a business analyst for a petrochemical company. I do some logistical coordination between plants, pipeline and the Business. Also financial analysis and forecasting and run plant models.
