This is a daily argument at my house! He's a folder, but I'm crumpler. He claims folding leads to fewer clogs.

@Kefttsc - DH's argument is that crumpling uses too much toilet paper! My take is that crumpling leads to more surface area so your less likely to actually touch yourself while wiping.

My DH and I often have the same debate! He says folding uses less toilet paper and I agree with @WanderingA‌ . I will be showing him this poll (if it is to my advantage) later.

I need to know who has the time to fold toilet paper. I am barely folding clothes. And by "folding clothes," I mean "dumping them onto a guest bed so they aren't as wrinkled from laying in the basket for an entire weekend."

The more important argument in my house is. When putting on the roll do you have it go over or under? My DH insists on over. Its ridiculous I really don't care.

I fold where the squares meet. Does the make sense? Crumpling just seems weird!! And @schnitz9 our argument is the same. DH always has the roll going under and it makes me crazy. That is so clearly WRONG.

I should have voted SS because it is somewhere in between and crumple and a fold. But since I am not consciously trying to fold it I voted crumple.

I went crumple because I do crumple a lot of the time.. but i also will wrap it around 4 fingers on my hand several times and then slide the whole thing off... i guess that's a form of folding?

We tend to leave the roll off the toilet paper roll thing. So I take the roll and wrap it around my fingers until I get a sufficient amount. I do not like to chance touching any pee, so I tend to use a lot of paper. My husband always complains about it too.

The fact that this post has so many responses really makes me reconsider how Im living life. lol

I neither fold, NOR crumple I guess. Unless my definition is off... I wrap it with overlapping parts, if that makes sense. Sort of like if you were trying to mummy wrap your hand. Is this folding or crumpling?

Not to mention we have to pee nine million more times now than just a few months ago so yes we do use more.....and the extra fluids down there do not help....so I would say we are entitled to use more toilet paper!

I always fold. I feel like a flat toilet paper cleans more effectively. Five squares, folded in half, then in half again.

We have a bidet but only for poop. I use 3 squares for a pee, crumple, and the roll hangs over.

Potato, so precise! I couldn't tell you how many squares I use if you paid me a million dollars. Probably because it might be different every time.

I'm a creature of habit. I confess it. And I taught Marnie to count squares when she's wiping so that we conserve toilet paper.
