What do you do??

Now that we have all grown a bit closer (I believe) I'm interested in knowing what y'all do for a living.

I'am in the property managment business and I love it. I run a luxury apartment complex in the middle of a very savy neighborhood. It's tough but I thoroughly enjoy it.

For the SAHM you guys are truely amazing. Being home raising kids 24/7 is hard as hell.

I did that for three years and I literally loved it so much. I loved looking at the monthly statements and getting them as clean a whistle.

  • I'm a paralegal at a patent law firm - high stress and long hours but I enjoy it. We will see how those long hours work when I go back though. I also have a graphic design business on the side and sell nursery/wedding/home prints on etsy and recently on zulily. Again, not sure how this will all work after baby. Trying not to think about it for now. Love this post idea!

I have died every day waiting for you. Darling, don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years. And all along I believed I would find you, time has brought your heart to me. I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you a thousand more.
  • I was a high school math teacher but am now staying home with my two babies. Some days I miss working and teaching and others am really greatful to be home and watch them grow.
  • Wow! So many interesting and creative jobs!! We are one well rounded group of mamas :D

I am an OEM Product Manager for a large access control company. I get to scout out the cool technology that we don't make in house to add to our portfolio.
  • I'm a nurse on the maternity floor, I work on the postpartum side and work nights. I love getting to help the new mamas with their babies and I'm trained to help with breastfeeding as well, it's hard but if I have to be away from my babies that's the only place I'd want to be

THAT IS WHAT I WANNA DO! This! Please! I wanna do this!!! Tell me about what you needed to get to this career!

I got my bachelorette degree in nursing and while I was in school I become a nursing assistant on the maternity floor which helped when I become a nurse since I had made connections with the right people and they hired me. I would just start looking for nursing programs in your area and see what you need to do to apply. Good luck! If you have any questions i would be happy to answer any!

  • @kdelgado03‌ aw, that's very kind! It's so nice that you work with your father too! I do a lot of networking with catering companies and have made quite a few friends as well as some pretty great deals. Haha, plus, I usually get free meals.
