I put Nutella and banana on an Eggo the other day and I felt like I'd never made a better decision in my life.
mmmm...nutella is a staple for us at brekafast too. or it used to be..before kids.

  • Not a fan of beer either, @deedee1017‌ & @hlb622‌! Unless I've had 4 sex on the beach's, two vodka & cranberry, and some mikes hard strawberry lemonade... THEN some reds apple ale doesn't taste *too* bad.

  • I used to like Nutella, then I read the ingredients.

Justin's Hazelnut Cocoa butter is superior. Because it isn't canned frosting disguising itself as a "nutritious breakfast spread".

I'm with @carriet2018, ::shocked not shocked gif::....people are doing the best they can to raise their kids within their own situation and circumstances. We represent such a small sample of women who had babies, and in my experience, people do not research the bejesus out of everything before they make a decision. It's fine to want everyone's kids to be safe, but we cannot control what everyone does...also natural selection. #imkidding

I honestly don't care what kind of milk you feed your child. Just don't come in here with your high and mighty, "my kid gets xyz milk, you are you giving WCM? You're doing it wrong", holier then thou attitude...and we will be just fine.

    I hate cheesecake.
I made cheesecake for my birthday.  If you were here I'd share with you so I could eat your piece  lol
lol. My friend's kid Natalie has the same concept of sharing. She says, "look mom! I'm sharing!" and takes a toy away from her brother.

    What is WCM?

    Whole Cows Milk.

Not to be confused with Liz Phair's, "H.W.C."

    Anybody?

    ...hairy white chicks? :-??

Well maybe Wilford Brimley should say the word correctly because he's the reason people say Beetus!

Seriously, though, I don't equate people calling it "the beetus" with people not taking it seriously like @jennlin's ILs. I think those are generally 2 separate issues.

Another example is "the hep" and "the HIV". Obviously, those are both very serious diseases and I think that most people take them seriously. Even if they say them in a silly way from time to time.

I don't think that simply using those terms means that the person does not recognize it as a serious disease.
I never thought much about it before, but I think I'm with @Connorsmama2006‌ on this one. I think giving a silly name to anything trivializes it. No one would think to give cancer a lighthearted nickname (I hope).

  • The same blogger that was instrumental in getting Subway to take chemicals out of their bread is not targeting Starbucks and their Pumpkin Spice Latte. Good for her with Subway, but back off my PSL!

(Really I got to local coffee shops when I have a few extra bucks, but I do like me a PSL in the fall.)

I might have something! I don't understand people who cry in front of their children.  If there is a major death maybe, but even then I feel like it is our job to be strong for our kids.

Successful UO!!!! I could be wrong but I don't think she means crying bc your husband is leaving for months. I think its like crying bc there is a traffic jam, or crying bc dinner didn't finish in time. I would like to go on record as a crier. Happy or sad. You want ur kid to show emotions..... But u don't want them to get paralyzed in sadness and not problem solve. There is no avoiding some of my cries....but I will hide it given the situation. I'm super sensitive to a fault. I don't want DD to be that.

Thanks for translating my thoughts!! #makeoutwithme

    But I'm glad I had a successful UO! \:D/
To further translate: bratty, "I didn't get my way" crying will not be tolerated my by adults in front of my kids in this house!
