I've been thinking about this. We pry won't be doing anything extravagant. Maybe a nice card and a framed photo if LO from the pics we had taken recently.
When did this supposed holiday get invented anyway? My parents are retired, get to visit LO any time they want, but are never asked to change a diaper or babysit. Every day is grandparents day.
Totally kidding. Or mostly. My parents are actually raising my brothers three kids, currently 12,13,14 and that's hugely tough for them, and a great sacrifice. I sent my mom a Mothers Day card that said great Mother-in-law, grandma, and mom on the front. I think they would actually side eye me for celebrating this non holiday. But my parents are like that.
MIL is probably checking the mail every day, waiting for her Precious Moments figurine with a little angel baby praying and a sign that says Best Grandma Ever
