Brought on because of the side eyes I got from a few kindergarten parents the other day when I said I was excited for my babies to start preschool. Don't get me wrong, I'll cry like baby at drop off the first day, it's a BIG day! But that doesn't mean I won't enjoy my 5 hours of freedom a week!!
I also don't think anyone who noticed a judgmental glare is someone insecure ridden with mommy guilt. Heck, I have days where I'm just off and I would judge me too if I were getting a quick glimpse of someone. I have ridiculously low expectations though. I figure my kids are well fed, are getting a quality education, have plenty of love and witness a stable marriage--that's pretty darn good considering so many kids go without adequate food/diapers, deal with parents instability, etc.
See I don't believe they are getting these glimpses at all. I believe it is an aw hidden in mommy guilt.
Hacking is hacking. No you do not have to have a bank account. All bills have an option to pay by mail with a money order.
lol um no you don't. You would be amazed a t the number of people who don't have bank accounts. I know quite a few low income families who don't have bank accounts it is way more common than you think,. Go to a bank on payday and watch how many people come in to cash their paychecks and get money orders for bills. They are all functioning members of society.
You don't have to be off the grid to not have a bank account! They also have options to go to office, court house or where ever to pay it. Other than bills I've never heard of a place not take cash or a money order. You don't need a bank. It is the same as someone hacking into your bank account. If they released the celebrities bank statement would you still blame the celebs?

That's like saying if you post pictures of your kids on FB someone is ok to take those and use them for whatever because you put the in a place where they could be stolen.

S/o psls, did anyone else see that crazy Food Babe thing on FB about how "toxic" a psl is? It was reposted by a couple of acquaintances (the types who think vaccines are government conspiracies etc) and the pseudoscience was enough to make me laugh....and get a psl when I happened to hit the sbux drive-thru just out of spite. :P

It's not ok, but people do it. And a picture of your kid is way different than a picture of your nudie pictures. Either one can be stolen with very little effort from a hacker. If there is a picture you don't want leaked to the public (especially as a public figure), then don't take the picture or make sure it's not accessible from the internet. It's not that hard of a concept.
Private things should be private, but with the internet, nothing is private.
Make sure there's nothing that you wouldn't want everyone in your life to see and you'll be fine.

And yeah about Food Babe....I think my favorite part was "No actual pumpkin". Like really?? I think I'd barf if anyone attempted putting actual pumpkin in my coffee....
Food babe was also urging people to stop using formula and go to raw milk for infants. She is. A bit nuts!
