Preggo Cruisers?

In late October I will be 20 weeks pregnant on a week-long cruise and was wondering if anyone else here has ever been on a cruise while pregnant? I am just curious as to how your experience went, and if/how it affected your vacation.

I haven't been on one while pregnant, but I do know some cruise lines ask you to provide proof from your doc that you are under so many weeks. Call the cruiseline and ask what their requirements are.

Yes, I already know all the rules about cruise line requirements. Carnival requires a waver from my doctor at least 2 weeks before cruising and you must not be 24 weeks or later any time during the cruise. Just curious about anyone's actual experience once they actually got onto the ship lol. And hey, they might use Prego during a tomato shortage?  :\">

Other than possibly being extra queasy I don't see how being pregnant on a cruise would be that much different, if at all, from being not pregnant on a cruise.

I went on a cruise at 12 weeks my last pregnancy. It was relaxing, but I wasn't the most fun travel partner ever. If you like to imbibe in your non-pregnant life, it's kind of painful to be an observer at the party. We had planned it as a time to recover from our recent loss and start trying again, but Mother Nature moved quicker than we did. Every night I went to bed right after dinner and my husband hit the casino. I did have 2 desserts every night, so the food is a big plus. Also, I was no queasier than any other time, given I was still in my first trimester.
