This check-in is for all mommas who lost a baby due in the month of December (any year), including any late loss mommies who gave birth and lost their babes in the month of December.

Nothing much going on with me. I was battling a sinus infection last week. Waiting for AF this weekend. I have a GI dr appt tomorrow. I may need to have an endoscopy so I think it would be best to take another month off. If they change their mind, I may start again this month. Not sure yet.

Well yay for normal results on the repeat b/w!! I don't understand the change either in 2 days. Maybe lab error initially? Who knows. Keep us posted on the HSG lovie! I'll be thinking of you.

AFM, as kisty already pointed out... I OVULATED!!!!!! woot woot!!! 4dpo :O) so I'll probably not only be conducting the CT but riding next week lol.

NTTC-related we're in the middle of calving season. You may have seen my post on the furbaby friday thread with our little miracle. Miracle is still making it; she & her mama are penned up at our house trying to get her going good before we turn them back out with the rest of the cows. We're afraid she is developing pneumonia and are watching her closely, as well as giving her shots as needed. I'm getting quite attached to the little fighter (ok who am I kidding...I'm super attached to her). A will to live is so important in these situations that could go either way so continued physical encouragement from her mama & us can make a big difference. H told Miracle last night as we were helping her nurse that she had quite the "surrogate mother" (I almost started crying).

Miracle came early Friday morning, and since then we've had 5 more calves (3 bulls & 2 heifers). So our entire weekend consisted of checking cows/calves every few hours and moving calves to the shade, if necessary. It's so hot out; if newborn/young calves are left out in the afternoon heat & sun, they can easily die. Now that we're back at work, we're getting up at 5am to get all of 'em checked & make sure Miracle nurses before work. (:| I'm exhausted and sore and sore some more. I may have pulled something in my lower back trying to hold down baby calves in the back of the rhino ATV. I laid in the living room floor with a heating pad on my back last night from the time we came inside to the time we went to bed. But it's obviously all worth it in the long run. Just giving you guys a glimpse into the "not so romantic/idealistic" side of ranch/farm life lol.

I'm not sure if it's the back pain or what but something has my stomach upset too. I'm basically falling apart.

AFM:
I'm getting nervous about Friday. I do kinda want to get the show on the road...... But I am scared what the RE will find in my ute. Also, it has been really nice not to have people all up in my crotch every time I go to the doctor so now I'm a little nervous to invite the gang in again....silly yes.... But true.

As for my DH's scans and b/w results..... I'm not sure when we will get them back. Usually MH has had everything done at the hospital that his oncologist is at, but that hospital is out of network so the scans and b/w has been costing about $3k every six months. This time we had them done for the hospital I work at because it's covered 100% and we had them send the reports to the oncologist........ My hospital is notoriously slow. So we are still waiting :-w

Ugh TP to your hospital to being slow with results!! But on the positive side, yay for being 100% covered with the money stress of paying at Friday's appt. FX they come back all clear asap!!

Hurray for O @blackbird818‌ !!!!!! I wish my temping was going better for me so I could tell when it happens. I seem to be waking up several times a night, usually a couple hours before I need to get up... hard to be consistent with my timing. I tried OPK's the last time I was TTC, but they disagreed with my temps, so I decided to try to save the money this time around. Which leads me to...

Thank you all for the well wishes... I am incredibly relieved and thankful that I do NOT have to have another d&c. The best part? I'm off the bench!! I thought I would need to wait until after my next period to try, but he said to go ahead now! WHAT??!! So... I'm at CD12, and can't believe I may be joining my first CT next week!!

@mrsjg2013 the biggest thing is to get 3-4 hours of straight sleep before taking your temp so if you wake up early and are going to get to go to the bathroom. etc. take your temp then. Even if your times vary, you should still see a pattern. Just keep at it!! :-bd

Yay for great results and no additional d&c!!!!!! And double yay for burning the bench!!!!!

AFM: I'm 3dp3dt - PUPO. All 3 of my little embies were transferred on Sunday. I'm praying for a miracle to happen here too! Official PT is on 9/11. I go in tomorrow for a progesterone/estrogen check.

I'm doing ok. It's been a rough few weeks at work with the new class starting and a co-teacher that has no empathy for other people. Still dealing with my AF, which has been here since the 17th of August. It's been extremely light but with lots of cramping. Not sure if this is normal or not. Hoping I'm near the end of it as it's driving DH crazy to not be able to do anything.

NTTC: STILL waiting to hear about moving, though I did start packing some boxes because our lease is up the end of the month so one way or another we'll be moving somewhere.

Thanks for the tip!! I'll start taking it before I get up to go to the bathroom instead of trying to get it at the exact same time... hopefully that will give me better results.

My holiday weekend was amazing! I got to be at home (old home) with DH and spend every waking minute with him...which is something I really really needed emotionally. Friday we went to the Michigan State football game and watched our team kick some butt. Saturday there was and art/music/food festival that we went to and Sunday we went to a Jazz festival. Monday, just laid low and hung out around the house. I really did not want to go back to the new place on Monday afternoon, but counting down the days until he comes down to see me this weekend.
Signs of AF...well...aside from the fact that I'm sitting here eating a loaf of bread (literally have one hand in the bag of bread, the other typing...this is sad...), not really. I finished my last birth control pill 2 nights ago, and usually takes me 4 days to start AF, so crossing my fingers for Friday. I'm ready to get this show on the road and start some Estrace...though I'm a little nervous since I read somewhere on the Infertility board that it turns you into an "emotionally unstable raccoon" (DH told me he's excited that he gets to be in town for when I start it...he wants to see what exactly that means).

Ahhh, I did trigger last night! We have to be at the RE's at 7:15am for ER, and we live an hour away. Early morning for us, but no complaining for me! I'm hoping everything goes smoothly, and I'll come back with an update.

@kistyW13 - Glad your numbers came back to normal! Our bodies sure can be weird sometime..

@StephieMK - Hope you feel better soon - good luck with tomorrow's appt.

I did and I didn't. I worked for 4 days straight, and for some reason I've been having a really hard time decompressing when I come home lately. I think I mentioned that a couple of weeks ago, I almost had a panic attack at work. It's gotten a bit better, but honestly, when I come home from work I'm either so exhausted I fall right into bed, or so frustrated that I'm growling at MH. This past weekend was the first time I've denied him sex more than one day in a row, and at one point I remember being half asleep and literally screaming at him to not touch me. I feel so horrible about it, especially because he got frustrated and upset about it. I've been trying to be a suck up the last two days, hopefully it's working.

As for the temping, I actually finally got my act together enough that I downloaded the FF app and put my thermometer next to my bed so I can do it when I wake up. Hopefully that will help me get into a routine, though honestly I'm not promising much, because routines and me don't seem to get along, like, at all.

@medic7979: Yep, once I get AF, I'm officially starting my FET cycle and get to start my estrace (racoon pills) and call my RE for my frozen embryo transfer date :-)
I hope the 2ww goes by quick for you...it really does suck. I remember how much it sucked before the whole MC thing...I haven't had the opportunity to see how much more it sucks after, but I imagine it's even worse after a loss. I'm glad you were able to find a great grief counselor. That's something I've always thought about doing and have always chickened out from at the last minute. Definitely feel free to share those tips for calming down when the sadness starts getting overwhelming :-) I'm sure a lot of us would appreciate it.

AFM-Sorry this is so late. Wednesdays are turning into my busy day. Not much is new here. Just keeping up with school and meetings. I love my job 100%, and my kiddos are my world. If I didn't have to deal with other adults or politics, I would be in my happy place all the time.

TTCR-I got nothing. Another cycle under my belt. This weekend I was in a little pity party, but work is a nice distraction. J hasn't been feeling well, so I hope he is up for BDing next week during FW.
