The sheer idiocy of these people on "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant" astounds me.
A doctor telling you that you probably won't be able to get pregnant is not an infertility diagnosis. There is a huge difference between probably cannot and absolutely cannot. Anyone who is ovulating has the chance of becoming pregnant.
Loving the entertainment... Hating the misinformation being given. (Like perpetuating the myth that you can get pregnant while on your period. No, just no. At least they clarified that it depends on when you ovulate but so many people don't really understand what that means.)
This is why I think sex ed should be mandatory. Yeah I'm sure we would all prefer our kids to keep it in their pants as long as possible, but grown men and women not understanding basic reproduction makes me ragey.
I have to AW/SS my LO's newborn photos.. proud mama over here! She is so perfect!
ADORABLE!!
Some of the best I've seen.

Dreading leaving LO to start my last semester of classes. Excited grad school is wrapping up but terrified for DH to be alone with LO for 6 hours. He called me hysterical yesterday after I had been gone for 45 minutes to the grocery store. This should be interesting..

By all means encourage your kids to not do it til they're 35 and married but FTLOCS (for the love of common sense) teach them how it works!
That girl was frighteningly oblivious. God bless the person with the patience responding because they handled it much better than I would have.

AW/SS time. Here is my sweet Liliana for her first birthday. My little baby, dammit this year with her flew by. Hold on to your lo's and often look into their eyes. The one year mark will creep up on you in no time.
Asked the OH to take a night feed again last night for the first time in weeks. I'd been ill so hadn't slept in 3-4 days and Minime was up every 20 mins to an hour just whining, not really wanting anything.
He said he was too tired and had to be up "super early" for work. He got up at 7 and watched tv for an hour.
Guess who's getting reacquainted with the spare room tonight?

Ugh.
Wouldn't bother me but I think I've asked 3 times during her 2 and a bit months here? All while running on fumes after being ill or totally exhausted.
He'd been bugging me to vacuum for a few days and somehow managed to find time to take a nap this morning. Oh dear, that nap was my only free time to vacuum today. "oops".
I work from home and have 2 kids to look after when the big one isn't at school. He works outside the house and seems to think because he earns more, he's a superhero of some sort that needs xbox time to recharge. I played half a game of solitaire on my phone yesterday while BFing, inhaled all my food while BFing, drank a coffee while walking between rooms and BFing. Would I be a complete monster for not doing Mom stuff for a few days to make the point that I don't just nap and watch tv the whole time he's out?
When I call my insurance agent, I speak to a woman named Precious. She is extremely competent and nice. When I hang up and say, "thank you, Precious," I feel very southern.
This is the funniest thing i've heard all day. lolz
I have found the power of LO's smiles on DH's mood! We got a call a couple of days ago that DH's dad was in jail and needed DH to go talk to the police and get things sorted out. Long story short, he spent the last two days dealing with his dad's ex-wife, current fiancé, the police, and parole officer. His dad has been in jail before, but this time it's more serious and if convicted, would be facing a minimum of 5 years sentence.
Needless to say, DH has been stressed (he's also up for a promotion at work and is going to school full time). I was racking my brain for how to help him relax, and found that a pepperoni pizza, ice cream, and just holding his daughter when she was happy did the trick! It's heartwarming to see his love for her, and how he forgets everything that's troubling him when she smiles.

Sorry to hear things have been stressful for him but there is nothing better than cuddles from your LO when you're uoset. I have a ton of stress myself and was crying and picked up my sleepy boy who cuddled into me and smiled a sleepy smile and everything was better

Sounds like going on mommy-strike is exactly what you need to do.
Caramel apple milky ways =P~
I love when the fall stuff starts coming out
This is a thing?! I love this country sometimes!
I have loads of work to do today thanks to them screwing up and rearranging everyone's projects so the man is on his own today. I'll keep the kids alive but that's the best I can do while trying to finish 40-odd mini projects by tomorrow night.
MiniMe pooped so loud this morning she made both of us jump then while changing her, had a buttsplosion that meant baths/laundry for me, her, our PJs, the bed sheet and mattress protector...changing mat is thankfully wipe-clean! I've suffered enough so it's his turn.

Lol yes it is! I think they're new this year because I've never seen them until yesterday. I got them at Wal-Mart, and they are delicious!
My oldest bird died today after I've had her for so many years. She got out of her cage, flew into the bathroom and drowned in the toilet. I found her this morning. I am a fucking mess and I just needed to tell someone. I know it seems less important than a dog or a cat but, she was my baby for the longest time and I loved her so so so much.

Omg-i am so very sorry. I know a lot of people that love their bird babies. I'm so sad for you

@jensavicci One of my HS best friends had her bird on her shoulder and her dad came into the room yelling. It startled Skylar, who flew up in the air into the ceiling fan. It was so tramuatic. And she still misses him as much as any dog or cat. They have such personalities. Sorry for your poor sweet birdy
@jensavicci that is awful! A bird is a pet, no different from any other animal. We love them, care for them, and miss them terribly when they are no longer with us.
jensavicci , so sorry, it sucks losing a pet. It was probably really traumatic finding her that way. With any death, I just try to think of the good memories and pets bring such joy.
