Whooping Cough @ daycare

Ugh, what a nightmare!  Got a phone call from the daycare stating that an infant had a case of whooping cough.  So I'm taking my little one in for observation, since he recently started getting lots of boogies and has started sounding congested.  He has his vaccinations, but still its a scary thing!  Anyone deal with this?

    I'm so sorry you're going through this. Our pediatrician did tell us that babies were 80% protected two weeks after their 3rd vaccine for whooping cough at 6 months. T&P that your LO doesn't develop it and that the LO recovers quickly.
