  I know this sounds cheap, but for our 1st anniversary, I wrote my H a love letter. He's hard to shop for, and he was really touched. Four years later he still keeps it on his nightstand.

  My DH and I are doing traditional paper presents as well for our first anniversary this year. I am looking into getting him a first edition of a favourite book. If that fails, I have the idea of a mongrammed, leather bound journal as a back up.   I can't be of any help We did the two things you said no to! He bought me concert tickets and I made him a scrapbook of pictures and other things made of paper that I've saved for the 6 yrs we were together (i.e. movie tickets, plane tickets, cards) I honestly never thought I would like doing a scrapbook but it was actually a lot of fun!

  Haha well Happy Anniversary to you!! I am such a procrastinator. Here I am waiting 2 weeks before our anniversary to figure something out and my H had everything planned months ago. I suck

  I recently had my first anniversary and my husband gave me a heart-shaped jar with little rolls of paper in it.  On each roll he wrote something he loved about me or a fond memory he has of our wedding.  I thought it was really romantic and creative.

  First doctor: Jan 2014 - May 2014: diagnosed with PCOS, progesterone pills, Femara & progesterone shots

  Second doctor: May 2014 - present: retested & dye test (told I am fine, but hubby has problem)

  100mg Clomid = too many follicles = no IUI, cysts from last cycle = no IUI

  four IUIs (last one cuz they wouldn't let me do IVF yet)

  I really wanted my do a "boudior" photoshoot for DH.  I didn't, but wished I had, and hopefully still will someday.  It isn't for everyone, but it can be as classy or as skanky as you want it to be.  Finding the right photographer and studio would be essential or DIY... Picture People isn't gonna cut it!

  My wedding photographer actually does them. I really love her and feel comfortable around her so I think that I may give those a shot someday! Just have to work up that courage... haha

  We used the website indigonight.com.  They do a print of the skyline of whatever date and location you choose.  So you'll just type in the day you got married and you're city and location of your wedding and they do a skyline of that night for you.  You can add text and the date, etc to personalize it.  Ours turned out really well.  I'd definitely recommend it.
