We start JK at 4 and my daughter was actually 3, her birthday is at the end of September although the cut off is December 31 to be turning 4. When my daughter started school it was full day every other day, but now the province changed it to full day everyday. At 7 she was already in grade 2, It does seem a bit late to be starting school.
