OR, how did the closing go?  Did you do it yet?  Did they get rid of the pile of stuff?

    Just kidding.

    I ate a Charleston Chew at 10am.
I haven't had one of those since I was a kid.  I used to buy them all the time because they were bigger than other candy bars, but the same price.

Also, I discovered last night that for some odd reason I have about a 6 pairs of shorts in size 12months, but only 3 tshirts/tank tops for my little guy.

Do I hope we have an early cold fall, squeeze him into size 9 months for another month or two, search through the 18 month stuff and deal with it, or buy a few onsies in 12 month size?

Everything else is long sleeved or a sweater?

I did find 2 18 month rompers I might see how big those are.

I am so paranoid and I don't trust anyone, it's ridiculous. I was in some local FB swap groups and I posted a few things but had to leave the groups because I conjured elaborate schemes about people using these groups to rob and hurt people. Should probably talk to my therapist about this... lol

I'd get some short sleeve stuff in the 12 month size since you can always use those sweaters over them if it gets cold faster than usual.

G1 has had a really hard time napping the last couple of days (which is totally understandable, all things considered), but I haven't been in the mood to force him to nap by laying down with him. Instead, I've been putting him in the room in the pack n play by himself and leaving him there. He doesn't cry, but he talks to himself, and he just sits there totally bored, I'm not even sure he ever fell asleep today. He may still be up there awake. It's been about an hour and a half.

Didn't even think of that.  And Carter's has some really good clearances on their short sleeved stuff now.

DD sleeps best when I just lay her down and let her put herself to sleep. Sometimes she talks and sings to herself for a while first, sometimes she even cries for a few minutes but it works for us! At least he will be getting some rest.

Along similar lines, I have a tendency to daydream terrible scenarios. The other day I was pumping gas, and I read the directions for what to do in case of a fire at the pump. Then it dawned on me that I would have to pick which of my kids to rescue first. This lead to me imagining a terrible fire and hearing a child screaming for help. I was nearly in tears before I could get finished pumping gas.

So, can you recommend a good therapist? :-S

C'mon guys. No one wants to say "I bet he eats better than all your nieces and nephews combined, especially SBILs bc she is a super slacker and feeds her 1 yr old rice cereal? Although I'm just guessing bc you don't bitch about her. At all. So I really wouldn't know." I thought we were friends.
    Awful will do it.

Or put long sleeves under them.

Right there with you, friend. I just started seeing a new therapist a couple of months ago and I think that she is really going to help me. I have gone to a few over the years and it takes time to really work with someone, but it is so worth it.

I let D stay home from school today.  He has been sick, but probably could have gone today. But him staying home let me work from home, which = more bump time.  Plus, PJs all day.  Woot!

I was sitting on the front porch with P reading the news paper yesterday when he quickly crawled under my chair to get a rock and then fell face first into a rose bush. I felt awful there were a few slightly bloody scratches, but by this morning they were all gone. I thought about not telling DH since he didn't get home till after bed time last night and would never know, but then I did anyway so I didn't feel guilty.

Is this still the confessional thread?

My spence just showed up, and my husband got it from the mailbox. I didn't want to tell him I'd bought something since I've been yelling at him all week to stop wasting money on things we don't need.
I got it from abbyslane. Since we have received stuff from maples bakery, MK's bacon-gear, and itk's PBumz, I told him abbyslane was one of my imaginary friends. He thinks you guys are awesome-lol :)

Haha. I've used that trick too. You all are extremely generous ;)

DH thinks I bought bamboo and hemp inserts new.

No dh. That shit is expensive. I used to be wary of buying used diapers but I bleach and hot wash before use. I've made some look brand new. So he can't tell.

I'm currently bleaching fitteds in the basement. But I am still undecided if I am to keep them. They were free from a friend anyway.

Oh, and bacon flavored mayo. Which tastes like real bacon.

    That sounds amaze-balls.
