WTF?? No, no, no! He is supposed to help finance his daughter's food, lodging, schooling & healthcare because she is his daughter. How is your DD gonna feel when she finds out that her "Father" (sperm donor?) blackmailed her Mother into providing all of her upkeep? That would make her feel like shit. It makes you feel like shit. He doesn't fucking care & that makes me spit on him. I know he's your husband but I can't respect a man that treats his own flesh n' blood like a damn bargaining chip. I have nothing but contempt for a person like that. Yuck!

From what you've described to me I can see no reasonable reason why you would lose any custody. You take care of every need your DD has! He does NOTHING . He's gas-lighting you & making you feel like you have anything to worry about.

He's already making you miserable & divorcing the rat-bastard would only cost you the stress. You are doing everything else on your own anyway. Any judge could see that.

I spit in that sorry excuse for a human's direction. Yes, I'm flaming HIM for being a piece of shit. You are a great mother! Just fuck him!

Ooof, just seeing this thread now, but @adeb9562 I'm really glad you have such a supportive family and therapist, and I hope that you can find a way to take steps out of this mess (which, let me be clear, you did NOT create).

While on vacation in California, I started to panic a little about having a second child. We love to travel, and Tess has been such a great little traveler, but its so expensive!

I am 99% sure we are going to have a second, but everything is just so expensive.

But at the end of the day, I loved having siblings and I always just gush over you 2+ moms siblings pics. I'd like Tess to have that sort of relationship. But it won't be for a year or so.

You deserve better and so does your daughter. You need to document the fact that your husband isn't contributing financially and get some good legal advice. I am so glad you found a good therapist.
