  Hi, I'm very sorry to read this.  I've been following your story as I've been lurking.  In my experience with miscarriages, once the baby and placenta have passed, the bleeding and cramping will slow down and be more like a heavy period.  It's hard to say what you passed with the large clots though, so it'll be important to see the OB as soon as you can.

  I'm so sad to see this update. Neither of my miscarriages have been natural, so I'm not a ton of help there. There is a sticky at the top of the miscarriage and pregnancy loss board that really helped me know what to expect for my D&Cs (they have threads for natural and medically induced ones as well). Many hugs to you. This sucks.

  Um, I'm pretty sure a bath is an infection risk. My OB told me no baths (and nothing in the vagina whatsoever) for two weeks.

  I'm so sorry you are going through this. Last October, I experienced a similar thing and my OB's emergency line told me to go to the ER. I was 12wks exactly and they just wanted to make sure medical professionals could help me if I was indeed experiencing a m/c. The staff in the ER were very helpful and my real OB did see me there and gave me my first dose of cytotec.
  
  If you can, I recommend going to the ER now. They can give you an u/s and can also help you sooner. Many hugs to you.
