  I've never had more than one follicle, so I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure I heard anything around 15 or over has the potential to be mature. It might depend on your E2 also?? I know that's only partially helpful at best.... I think at my last cycle I triggered with one 16 mm follicle though, so that should give you some idea.

  IUI #3- June- Follistim 75iu + Trigger + IUI #3  Benched due to a 40 mm cyst. :-(

  IUI #3- July- Follistim 75iu + Trigger + IUI #3 + Endometrin = BFP! on 7/25/14
  

  Slowly rising betas - Ectopic suspected on 8/8/14 & confirmed on 8/11/14

  Methotrexate on 8/12/14 -HCG negative on 9/2/14

  IVF #1- November- Antagonist protocol: 11/1: start stims, 200iu of Follistim; 11/12 ER 17R/14M/14F; 11/17 5 day transfer of two blasts, 2 blasts and 2 expanding morulas frozen; 11/22 BFP!! (On FRER at 5dp5dt)

  Betas: 9dp5dt 205, 11dp5dt 497, 14dp5dt 1,709

  If you're using a trigger shot it should force your body to ovulate any mature eggs (where your body would normally only release one). My doctor told me anything over 15mm is considered large enough to have a mature egg. I don't know anything about letrozole or femara... but I would guess even if your 15 doesn't get any bigger, that yes, there's at least a small possibility of twins! Oh and I agree with lebradford that your E2 levels factor in and can give a clue about whether both are mature.

  My husband was diagnosed with state IV colon cancer in 2009. Surgery and six rounds of chemo left him in remission (yay!) but with low testosterone. He took Androgel for two years starting in Jan 2011.

  -SA in Jan 2013: big fat zero; stopped Androgel

  -varicocelectomy in June 2013

  -SA in Dec 2013: 23mil/ml, really low morph

  -SA in March 2014: Count doubled! Morphology apparently no longer an issue.

  July 2014: IUI#1 (clomid/bravelle/ovidrel; 1 follicle, 23mil post-wash) = BFN

  September 2014: IUI#3 (clomid/bravelle/ovidrel; 2 follicles, 15mil post-wash) = BFN

  October 2014: IUI#4 (clomid/bravelle/ovidrel; 1-2 follicles, 12mil post-wash) = BFN

  I think there's just a small possibility. My RE considered 18 to mature (enough to trigger), and it could grow a little between the time you trigger and you ovulate.

  October 2010: first consultation with RE, dx PCOS and fibroids (DH slightly low count/motility)
  Oct. 2010 - Dec. 2012:  In DENIAL! avoided the issue because I was scared of surgery
  January 2013: returned to RE, fibroids grew significantly
  February 2013: second HSG, fibroids pushed on tubes which blocked them somewhat
  March 2013: MRI to determine what type of surgery may be necessary
  July 29, 2013: fibroids (5) removed via robotic laparascopy
  August 2013 - Nov 2013 : benched due to recent surgery

  May 21, 2014: third HSG, tubes blocked, one at the beginning, one hydrosalpinx??
  

  June 11, 2014: consult, approved to move on to IVF because the hydro is not completely blocked therefore allowing fluid to move through slowly rather than backwards
  IVF #1 August 8, 2014 - 3dt of 2 embryos, BFN
  September 17, 2014 - 4th HSG, the right tube is very patent (open!!) dye went straight through this time. Weird!
  October 2, 2014 - started metformin treatment
  November 14, 2014 - blood work, brought A1C down from 5.8 to 5.5
  November 26, 2014 - RE finally back from vaca and reviewed my chart, no more IVFs for rest of calendar year
  December 1, 2014 - Right after Thanksgiving, I called a new clinic and got in right away! Plan for IVF
  December 17, 2014 - ER! 29 retrieved (!!), 16 mature, all 16 fertilized (ICSI)
  IVF #2 December 20, 2014 - 3dt of 3 embryos, BFN

  I would think if you have a 15 at the time of trigger, there's a good chance that it will be mature by the time of the IUI.  Today my nurse told me that even 14s at trigger can contain a mature egg.

  My re says not to count out the 1.5s. Twins are a small possibility - then again, I had many cycles with two follies at or over 1.5 and got bfns

  Official diagnosis: Unexplained IF. I am 32. I have low ovarian reserve (low AMH), and poor egg quality. I've also been diagnosed with mild glandular developmental arrest (lining problems, detected with EFT).

  We are using open ID donor sperm. IUIs #1-7=BFN. IVF September 2014 antagonist protocol, 8R,5M,3F, 5 day transfer of 1 morula = BFN. IVF#2 planned for January 2015 (antagonist protocol + HGH).

  I'm going to trigger today and the nurse says I have 2, one is 21mm and the other is 16mm. They are counting the 16mm as a mature egg. I think it is very possible yours can mature in time for ovulation. I did femara + injects though so I don't know if the follicle size changes anything.

  @emmuffy @sweetieshellieh Oh dear, I guess you two heard the opposite! Although, I think injects cycles have mature eggs in smaller follies because they mature faster as the follicles are growing.

  
  

  No expectations here - after 50+ BFNs, can't say we're expecting to get pregnant in any given cycle. But it kind of felt cool to think we might be in the running for twins, as I've never had multiple follies before. Okay, back to real life!!

  @emmuffy No need to be sorry, I know you were being honest, not negative! Lol I tend to avoid optimism regarding TTC because it comes with big disappointments...was actually kind of looking for some "you can stop imagining you might have twins now so stop getting your panties in a knot" kind of replies.
