Anyone else cry after their babyshower?!?

Today was my babyshower and it turned out great, despite the fact the the original hostess bailed last minute due to some unknown reasons. Thank god I had 2 other hostesses that jumped in right away, but that's a whole other story.

The shower was done beautifully and matched my personality perfectly.

Anyway we got so many good gifts and loads of gift cards. I was beyond overwhelmed with it all.

When I returned home after the shower, I had some packages sitting on my doorstep. Friends from across the country sent us gifts and planned that they would be delivered today. When I opened those gifts and read all of my cards from today, I just started crying uncontrollably! I just felt so much love and support today that it was a surreal and emotional feeling.

So my tears were def tears of joy and happiness!! My little girl is set for a good while.

Just wanted to share my thoughts this evening with you ladies!

Beautiful pictures! I'm glad you had such a wonderful day! Mine is tomorrow and I've been more emotional than ever so a few tears wouldn't surprise me at all.

Pretty!! I haven't had a shower yet but I just found out today that one is officially being planned for me here in our new state by all these amazing people from the church that is hardly even know. They love on us so much it's overwhelming. Even though this is my third pregnancy, this is the first time anyone has offered something like this for me so I'm sure I'll be a mess!

I totally understand. I cried on the way home from mine. I managed to hold it together while I was there. It really was so overwhelming how kind everyone was. We really felt loved. You looked beautiful and it looks like your friends did a great job with everything!

That's awesome! Sounds like an amazing of people to have around you in a new place.

I was about half way through opening gifts at my shower and almost burst into tears because I just felt to overwhelming loved. Luckily I held it together and was able to say to everyone exactly how I felt instead of becoming a blubbering mess!

Don't you wish you could just bottle this feeling? I felt the same after my shower & try to remember this moment of absolute gratitude when I'm feeling particularly pissy. Enjoy the love! It sounds like a fabulous day

I am such a weepy person since I have become pregnant! I def cried when I was leaving and thanking my aunt and cousin for putting everything together! It's nice to know I am not the only one who teared up a bit lol
