DS1 had his first day of 4-year old pre school yesterday, today I got a call from his teacher regarding "something inappropriate and concerning that he said". Apparently she overheard him saying something that involved the R-word! I was completely stunned, embarrassed and confused, I told her I didn't know where he heard it (I really don't!) and that I would speak to him about it.

So I asked him if he said "retarded" at school and where he heard it.

He tells me that "in the Planes movie they don't know how to say the word water so they say fire retardant, yea that's what they call water in the movie..."

Thanks a lot freaking Walt Disney! Instead of saying that they dropped water on the freaking fires they say fire retardant! I immediately called the teacher back to explain. I was really hoping to make it past at least the first week before getting a call from the teacher but at least it ended well.

So far, dd has to say hi to everyone we see, everywhere we are. She then goes on to them, "mommy was in the hospital. They cut and pulled. (She shows them a visual on the stomach. Using her finger to pretend to cut her stomach and then pulls her skin.) this is brother Isaac."
She will also go and tell everyone her life story and adopts other parents at the playground.

I can just imagine what she'll say in school. Oh boy..

DD1 (2.5) says that when she gets older, she wants coffee, contacts (lens like me), gum, oh and boobies. @-)

Hahaha!

When my DD was little we went to go buy The Little Mermaid and she was sooooo excited. She rode through the store talking (yelling) all about her Mermaid Movie. Except movie sounded more like boobie so it was a mermaid boobie. It was hilarious!

DS1 started preschool recently too and I'm just waiting for a phone call. He has had a few good ones lately but this is probably my favorite. For whatever reason he came up with the term "milk boppies" for boobs when I'm nursing the twins. One night DH was walking around without a shirt and DS said "Look, Daddy's growing milk boppies!". Lol, I lost it. Poor DH, he isn't overweight in the least but now he's all paranoid.

When DS1 was younger he had a hard time with his 'Ls'. It resulted in him telling people that "grandpa put the cock (clock) on the wall" and yelling "I want boobies (blueberries)" in Costco.

My almost 3 year old was putting a puzzle together, he put the last piece in and said "ya!!! I f**king did it". I was in shock and happy that it was just me, DH & my mom there to witness it.

My DD used to go around saying 'yippee ki-yay mutherf*cker' after watching 'Die Hard' with us when she was around 4 or 5.
She only did it in public a few times, and after a while she only said it when she saw Bruce Willis.

My cousin was at kindergarten and was struggling to put on his boots when the teacher heard him say "g*d damn f*cking boots!" He had apparently picked it up by listening to his architect father, who works at home, deal with terrible contractors all day long lol.

My nephew (4) walked in on my brother in law showering. He peeked in and said "you got a big peepee Luke." my brother in law felt pretty good about himself after that. Haha. Also.. Same kid: great grandma is almost blind, 94 but is still pretty agile. She started crawling on the floor to him to play with him making some weird noises and he goes "you scary grandma." Way too funny.

DS1 tells me often he wants boobies when he grows up so he can use the milk machine too! He used to say 1, 2, 3 blast off, except blast off sound like whack off. I have a friend whose son couldn't say fire truck and called the fire fucks. One day we were at a store and there was a huge firefighter display with toy trucks and costumes etc and he started yelling excitedly "FIRE FUCKS FIRE FUCKS!"
