Is this the right board? Sorry I have been MIA

Someone was so rude to me on the Infertility board...just looking for help and support! I have had Secondary IF for over a year. Clomid, Femara, no luck. This was our first cycle ttc after taking a 5 month break. I took this test tonight. Thoughts? Please no haters...I don't need to cry. I will not come on this Bump again if someone can't be supportive.

That looks like a bfp to me!! Most of the girls (maybe all?) on this board had primary IF. But we all have at least one child at this point. There is a pregnancy check in weekly. You may also find the secondary IF board helpful or if your BFP is a true one, there is also the Pregnant after IF (PAIF) board. Other girls can comment but you may find that this board is a good fit for you. GL

to get support one must GIVE support. it's that simple. you waltzed in to a board of women STRUGGLING to get pregnant and announce a rather obvious pregnancy. would you do that in real life? walk into a support group for infertile women you don't know and shake a pee stick in their faces and yell "hey i'm pregnant bitches!" and then leave?

i don't think so.

Sorry if I am in the minority here, but I am going to stick up for the OP in posting on this forum. I recall how it can be upsetting to have someone have their first post on the IF board be about a bfp, but I think it was pretty reasonable that she post here and ask if this was the right place for her. I don't think the public flogging needs to occur on this board. I know I am not a frequent poster here anymore, but I think that this thread is getting away from the spirit and support we try to offer on SAIF. If someone has stumbled here accidentally we try to politely guide them in the right direction. I for one, think this board might be a good fit for the OP and I would hope that the negativity expressed above doesn't prevent her from finding support on this or other bump forums.

It wasn't that she posted here and asked if it was the right place, it was she went on 2IF first with a thread- "I'm think I'm totes pregly y'all" when she had never intro'd or commented and no one knew who the hell she was. She did it correctly over here- but had zero respect for 2IF and just did a rude drive by. Then after got called on it dirty deleted and came here. That is the issue- oh! And the fact that she was rude in doing that- got called on it and came over here ON ANOTHER BOARD- and called them rude for calling her on her drive by. So now you know the rest if the story.

Agreed that it is bad form to talk bad about one board on another board, and of course to throw a BFP in the faces of an IF board.
However, I like to think that SAIF is a welcoming, forgive and forget board. Everyone is welcome here. So OP, looks like a BFP to me! I hope you work on your manners a touch, and then stick around!
