    OMG. I just meant women shouldn't feel like they HAVE to use a bf room just like they don't have to use a cover. Tis all.

    Unfortunately until recently breastfeeding mothers had few legal rights in Michigan. We were on of five states (I think) that had no protection beyond not being charged with public nudity.

    I agree that women shouldn't feel like they have to a nursing room. Nursing rooms seem to be the norm for many women here though. I would think the lack of protection and the desire for privacy by some mothers contribute to that.

    In the last few years the news has done a few pieces on women being booted from public places for breastfeeding. I'll admit that until the new law was passed that I did not feel comfortable openly nursing. I still don't sometimes due to the lack of knowledge of the law.

    Just use the Nordstom lounge at Tysons. ;)

    Yeah but it is mall sushi. And it's just crammed between escalators. It just isn't appetizing.
