So we have pretty much nailed down our potential names for this Little One. Her first name will be in honor of Bob Dylan and her middle name will be in honor of her Grandpa Philip who passed away on the 11th of Dec- our last name is a very Jewish and 3 syllables. What do you like best or think sounds the best together? I am pretty torn between 1 and 2.

1. Johanna (Joey) Phinn (Bob Dylan song and Huck Finn)

2. Dylan Phae (my middle name is Jae and my Grandma's is Rae)

3. Dylan Phoebe (no significance with Phoebe, we just thought we might need something more feminine to offset Dylan)

I like Johanna too, but with either middle name, I like the "normal" spelling better with the "f" ....I have a thing with funny spellings....but that may be just because my last name is Johannesmann and I have to keep things simple. I would go with faye personally.

Sorry, not very familiar with Bob Dylan's songs. Embarrassed

Are you pronouncing Johanna as Jo-anna or John-na? My SIL name is Jonna (pronounced John-na), if you are interested in a different spelling. She is named after her dad John.

Johanna is actually pronounced Jo-Hannah.
