LO has her 6 month shots today, boo. Other than that, no real plans for the day or the holiday weekend.

we're randomly up, too. this weekend we just have BBQ's at the IL's and my parents houses... then I'll be spending all day Monday crying because I have to go back to work again on Tuesday. I'm a teacher and went back in May but have been home since June so it's going to feel like the first time all over again!

Hi party people.

W was up 9 times last night.

My in-laws are on their way here for the long weekend and I'm already annoyed. My MIL keeps sending us links to houses we cannot afford. When we tell her our budget, she says "but you need to live somewhere SAFE for the BABY!" (No, really, MIL? I thought we'd live in a crack den.)

And then when we said we're probably going to have to downsize and get rid of a bedroom (sell a bed, etc), she flipped her shit because "Where is everyone going to sleep when we visit all at once?"

SO basically what she's saying is we need a 3 bedroom in a fancy part of town for safety reasons and so we can host the holidays.

@Codypup‌ Willsie and Molly are thinking alike. she woke up a few times and was able to go back to sleep except from 3-4. then I naively thought she'd sleep late but nope!! 6:15 and she's ready to roll.

@elf828‌ I'm glad your anniversary turned out so great! we have to bring our dog to the vet but I refuse to go without DH because the dog FREAKS out. he's a shelter dog and something about being there flips a switch and he is out of control but as soon as we're back in the car, he's fine again. you have all my sympathies today!

Up until now, LO has been the littlest baby in the infant room at daycare. A new baby started this week and she's a squishy 3 month love. Seeing her next to lo I'm amazed at all LO can do... sit up, scoot all over, almost crawl...

My baby isn't THE baby in the room anymore! That sort of makes me really happy and really sad all at once.

Ugh, DD went to bed early then woke up a million times. I heard something at 4:45 and she was just laying in her crib awake. I'm downstairs pumping and she's starting to fuss. It's going to suck getting ready this morning. She's usually still asleep when I leave. =(

LO has a cold, and we had an awful night. I'm feeling low because I put him in daycare one day, and now he has a cold. I also need to take him today which I'm feeling bad about. I'm irrationally angry that DH isn't here even though I know he put in an 18 hour day yesterday. Thank god my mom is here, or I might not have made it.

My bf wants to go away this weekend to his brothers house. His other brother and his girlfriend are going too. It's about 5 hours away. What's on the agenda? Partying. Mountain biking. Dirt biking. The Arkells concert.

I don't want to go, because Reece and I wouldn't be able to participate in much and would be left sitting at home. I'm happy to have bf go without me, but he won't. So now I don't know what to do.

We went to the fair yesterday. I was wearing LO and watching horse jumping, standing at the edge of the stands. Suddenly an older woman with a cane fell off the edge of the seats while she was stepping off. Right onto me and the baby! She ended up falling against my leg, so I had to basically stand there with her leaning against me, until my bf came over and helped her to the ground. Thank god were we there to be fallen on, or she would have fallen hard with her head on the concrete. She hurt her leg/hip, but we don't know any more.

Yes, we are. R was tired when that happened, and I swear He barely noticed.

Bf and I were helping her, first aid had already been called, etc when this woman came up, practically pushed us out of the way to "help". It's terrible but I found it a little funny. My BF has plenty of first aid training too, but this girl was like "I know CPR!" And pushed her way into the small crowd to grab the ladies hand. Some people love the drama

I PnR'ed earlier. LO is doing better, I think. He's happy and playing and eating like a champ. I'm feeling better. I'm so glad my mom is here. We got my classroom finished and then visited the Fisher-Price store. (Conveniently, my new school is in the same town as the worldwide FP headquarters.) We had lunch, and I so needed some time to just relax, especially after last night. I'm a whole new woman.
