I get so bloated that I appear quite obviously pregnant by like 7-8 weeks(#5thpregnancyproblems) so waiting till 2nd tri is not an option unless we want to do the elephant in the room thing. Coworkers are already starting to side-eye me and our nanny has already figured it out. I *think* we are going to go FB official on Monday or Tuesday.
Due with #5 April 22, 2015. It's a girl!!!!!
Yes it was planned, yes we know what causes that, no we are not on public assistance, and yes we will be getting cable after this.
Haha, me too! It amazes me that my friends can wait that long in secret. Of course, it doesn't help that my mother-in-law brings up pregnancy just about every time I see her...
We have already told our parents and siblings. Well they kinda figured it out without is telling them... We are waiting to tell the rest of our family and friends until the second trimester.
I chose "after the 1st appointment" bc that's when we are broadcasting it to FB.. but we've already told immediate family, close friends and my boss/department.

This is us, too, but I chose "we already did." Oops! Maybe I should have chosen special snowflake
We'll tell different groups at different times. By this point the first time around we had already told our parents, but this time we're holding out until my u/s. I'm not feeling as much of a need to share the news this time.
I haven't announced on fb yet but my nearest and dearest know and so dies my work. I have to disclose to my work the day I find out because they put me in desk duty. We work with chemicals and animals so it's unsafe for a pregnant woman.
We told our parents, siblings, and grandparents right away and DH's boss not long after (military and it impacts a few things). We were planning to tell the rest of the family and close friends after my dating ultrasound next week but my little brother got too excited and spilled the beans to my cousins yesterday, so looks like the rest of the family knows already! I was kind of mad as I want to be in control of who finds out when, but at least he didn't post it on fb or something.
For us, in the last couple of weeks it has been a tell as we go. So we are with close friends that we won't see for while, then we tell. It will probably not be on FB until we find out the gender, or someone outs us, but it will get there eventually!
Our parents and his sisters already know, but they knew we were doing IVF so there's no way to get around that. A few very close friends know but that's it. Progesterone supplements and repeat pregnancies are making the bloat pretty obvious though so we will likely announce around 10 weeks after I get to hear the heartbeat at my appointment.

this. I'm bigger around the middle than I normally am, and I've had at least 4 people ask me if I am at this point. Just last night I had a friend ask if I was pregnant or if it was just the shirt... and it was 11pm and outside in the dark, with dark clothes on. I really am not ready to share yet, and would very much like to get the genetic screening done first, but I don't think I'll be able to make it that far without the world noticing how big my stomach is.
i am 6 weeks & 3 days, we told close family and friends, and i told a couple key people at work. we decided to wait and tell the world until we know all is healthy & good. i think by telling those close to us we have a good support system if we need them. this is my first pregnancy, so we are not sure what to expect!
We told immediate family and best friends but I am trying to wait until 2nd tri , but I keep slipping. I told my DD daycare teacher today and then wished I hadn't. At work I may tell in a few weeks. My belly is starting to show more and one of the guys asked if I had stopped working out-not cool.
My first appointment is somewhere around 9-10 weeks so I'll tell after that. I'm a blabber mouth so I'm surprised I've kept it a secret for almost a week already. I might tell my mom soon, but we are not "BFF-close" and she is a blabber mouth too...so I'm gonna try & wait as long as I can. I'm scared of having to untell people if something happens:/
My family was told when I got the bfp because I need their support for whatever the outcome after going through 3 miscarriages in the last year. The rest of the world will know once I'm I'm the second trimester. I'm still undecided if I will post much if anything at all on social media. The losses I have gone through have made me much more aware of struggles wen go through silently and how tough it can be seeing daily updates of others pregnancies.
