Hi Ladies,
I intro'd over on TTCAL today and was told about this board. I've been MIA from the boards for a few months now and figured it was time to jump back in. After struggling with IF for 3 years (two REs, 2 procedures, and 3 IUIs) I had my first child. Surprisingly, we naturally conceived 9 months after giving birth. Had some scares in the beginning that it may have been an ectopic pregnancy, but everything seemed to have been progressing ok after several ultrasounds. At our anatomy scan we were told that our baby had complications and after further tests we were told that he had skeletal dysplasia. We lost our baby boy last November at 23 weeks. I don't think I could ever really describe the pain we felt and still feel even now. The only thing I can say is that some days are better than others, and this is a pain I don't think anyone should ever have to feel. We finally decided to try conceiving again two months ago. I'm hoping that we won't have to go through fertility treatments again to successfully conceive.
On a lighter note, I'm a boring accountant originally from Jamaica. I curse like a sailor, but I'll try to limit that here. I live in Georgia, and I love my beautiful state
