I am a photographer and oldest dd was using a pretend camera to take a pic if her sister and told her to move closer to the window because where she was at was not goid lighting

I'm currently sick and my son climbed into bed (after getting back from the grocery store with DH) and said, "mommy, me and daddy are taking care of you because we love you" then he kissed my back :x it just warmed my heart. Eta-typo
DD is back to giving squeezy hugs. Usually it is just a snuggle hug where she just kind of lays on your shoulder, but the last couple of days she's been wrapping her arms around my neck to give me a "squeezer"!
My son loves to read. He literally sat on dh's lap for two hours this morning reading books. I'm impressed he can sit still that long at two but my favorite part is that he has the books memorized. Dh likes to change the words and v will go 'Noooo' to correct him. And we're Christians so it totally melts me when he brings us his Bible and says 'Ma miss' (Moses), ' Jacob' or another Bible character that he wants to read about.

I took L to her first music class yesterday, and she was super excited. She was stomping and dancing, and I'm pretty sure it was the cutest thing I've ever seen.
DD says "bless you" when someone sneezes and when you say "thank you" in response she says "welcome". The other day a can of coke rolled out of the fridge and landed on my foot...C comes running in and says "mommy...you ok?"while patting my leg! There is so much I could AW about her...she is hilarious, firey, intelligent, gentle and kind hearted. I'm beyond proud of her. I literally don't know how I passed all the time before she came into my life .
The grocery store we go to has a game that you get points at. You can redeem the points for prizes. a genius marketing ploy to get kids interested in their store.
DS, almost 3, got two tickets this weekend, one for 20 points and one for 1. This morning, he found the tickets and said I have one 20 point and one 1 point. I asked if he knew which one was the 20 and he picked right. I thought it was a guess, but when I asked how he knew, he said because this one is a 1. Color me shocked!
One of DS's current funny sayings is "does that sound a plan?" He mises the "like" in "does that sound like a plan" every single time. He uses the phrase after stating what he wants to do if it wasn't well-received the first time he said it. For example, he wants to go outside but I'm busy at the moment and tell him that we'll go outside later. So he says "I get your shoes for you and we go outside. That sound a plan?" and then tilts his head to the side like he just made me a pretty appealing offer. It makes me laugh every time.

G has apparently been watching too much Frozen. Last night he smacked MH on the face (playfully) and said "Stop it, Sven!". And whenever he is sad lately he says "Mommy, I need a warm hug!" with the most pathetic look on his face.
In general he is very sweet and silly. He just started spontaneously saying "I love you" to me, MH, and even the dog. He says "Guess what Sadie (dog), I wuv you!". And he just started to spell his name out loud (not write it).
Whenever someone is hurt or sad, DD instantly blows an air kiss. Melts your heart she also pooped on the potty at daycare yesterday for the first time ever!

DX: RPL due to submucosal uterine fibroid. Hysteroscopy 12/16. All clear!
My son, I call him HC, is the sweetest. They told me last week at dc that during play time in the gym, he goes around giving hugs and kisses to everyone. He also gave some impromptu kisses to one of my girlfriends at church Sunday. He might be a little bit of a flirt. Haha.
Started adoption process in Jan. 2011.
3 failed matches in 2012.
Surprise pregnancy in Aug. 2012. Precious baby boy "HC" born May 2013.
Began researching EA in 2014.
No longer pursuing EA due to fibroid complications.
I was folding a load of laundry today and DS came over to help. I thanked him for helping me and he replied, "I'm helping cuz Daddy said that it's our job to take care of you. I will always help Daddy take care of you, Mommy! We're a family!"
I almost started crying right then and there! It was just so sweet!
DS and I both had dentist appointments today and he was amazing! I knew he would do well but both the hygienist and the dentist could stop saying what a good patient he was. Then he sat so nicely waiting for me to be done.

Cute This reminds me of my DS - when he was still in the infant room at daycare they said he used to go up to the arriving kids and pat them on the head or give them a toy. Lol.
DD has been doing so many new things. First she will drink from her straw cup when she is holding it. She also has been getting into standing while holding on to things. And she also took two steps while holding on. She is still a ways away from walking but she is getting there.
My little boy is so sweet. I pointed out how pretty our hydrangeas were the other day, and he said mommy you are prettier than the hydrangeas. Then he said I'm going to give you a leaf, so he picked up a leaf and gave it to me like it was a beautiful flower.

DH was holding our daughter this morning and he was playing with my hair trying to get me to not put it up in a ponytail. He told our daughter "if mommy looks prettier with her hair down give her a hug". She reached over and gave me a squeezy hug. Made my morning.
DS is doing so well in first grade. When I dropped him off last week his teacher raved about how happy she is to have him in her class and how smart he is. He's in the accelerated reader program too.
DD is just so much fun to be around. I love how easily she entertains herself and how positive she is.
Awww...these are such wonderful stories and this should definitely be a staple here!
Dawson loves trains and Devin loves airplanes. They pretty much stick to their own toys, but occasionally they want to play with the others'. Devin was playing with one of Dawson's new trains and Dawson wanted it back. I try to instill in them that they can play with each other's toys, but if the owner wants it back then you should give it back, so I made Devin give back the train and he was crying. Dawson got Devin an airplane, but Devin continued to cry. So, Dawson brought back the train and said "Here Debie, it's OK" and gave him a kiss on his nose, ran his hand down his check then gave him a hug and another kiss continually saying "It's OK, it's OK". They can really be so sweet to each other when they want to be.
