Cycle status:
QOTW: Do you have fancy bed sheets? Do you think it's worth the money to get the high thread count ones? And do you have several sets that you switch out a lot or do you only have one that you just wash and put back on.

Re: •••• 2IF Weekly Check-In ••••
QOTW: I got a couple sets of really high thread count, Egyptian cotton sheets from one of those discount mommy websites last year. And it was so worth it! I feel like I'm sleeping on a cloud every single night. I like the higher thread counts. Before this though, we had a couple sets we got for our wedding so they were decent quality, but nothing like what we have now.

And do you have several sets that you switch out a lot or do you only have one that you just wash and put back on. I do not have a fancy set right now, I just got a new comforter set and I let N pick it out because I just don't care how my bed looks right now- SO, she picked out pink sheets with a b/w comforter lol. I used to have really glorious, Egyptian cotton with a super high thread count ( I had 2 sets ) Idk what I did with them? Maybe they're in the linen closet? I haven't looked for them in a while, and like I said, I really don't care right now. I don't think I slept any differently on the nice sheets vs the eco sheets that I'm using now

Cycle status: Ovulation day. Unfortunately we had a really bad experience with the IUI. The clinic moved today and their disorganization has created high anxiety for DH and I've been on the verge of tears all day. We did B2B IUIs and yesterday was a bit disorganized at the old office (i.e. couldn't find pens for us to sign things, giving misinformation about where the sample should go, etc.) but today was just ridiculous. For example, no one really knew where we were supposed to go or what we were supposed to do and led us to standing around while staff all stared at us not sure what to do either. Then the collections area turns out wasn't ready and opened late. There was no paper towel or soap in the collection room. The lock needs instructions on that door (thankfully no one came in but it opened by itself twice). The bathroom was closed for maintenance. The whole place was really dry and we both parched but no water fountain available (there were two at the old place). And the new place looks pretty but no backs on the chairs so uncomfortable. Anyways, not surprisingly motility and count sucked today. I mean DH almost walked out of their empty handed so I guess something is better than nothing. Blood and u/s was really inefficient and took forever. They weren't clear to me about having to have a full bladder and so that became an issue too...and apparently I have a titled uterus, first I've heard so that made it more difficult. All in all, I know it only takes 1 little swimmer but I'm not holding much hope for this cycle and feel like we wasted our money.

Sorta of I guess. LOL define fancy. We spend a bit on our sheets and love the extra comfort. We have a few sets.
DS #1: April 2010
DS #2: July 2015 (preemie born at 31 weeks) - our little miracle conceived through ART - unexplained secondary infertility/adenomyosis
Kid #1 - 09/03/12
Hysteroscopy #10 - scar tissue grew back reblocking my right tube
#11 or IVF with scarring still inside?
1 lone embryo from September 2016 retreival, dx with Trisomy 16, starting fresh
We have 2 fairly nice sets of sheets but they are "irregular" so one of them does not fit the bed quite right. They are super soft and were super cheap so I'm not complaining. The ill fitting one is a back up set we mostly just use the other one and wash once a week.
TTC #2 since 1/1/13
QOTW: we have 2 sets that we got when got married but they are old (7 years!) so we are due to treat ourselves in the near future.
QOTW: just plain old cotton sheets, I hate our fancy bed but cannot sell it because the dog peed on it and we have only had it since the spring.
DX: Severe MFI 9/1/11

QOTW: We have one awesome set and one not so great set and I can totally tell a difference! The cheaper ones now feel like I am sleeping on paper

A pile of BFN sticks that is starting to rival Everest ~X(
F this cycle that apparently is never going to end...
QQTW: Yes we have some fancy sheets but since we got all of them 8-9 years ago when we got married they are in need of replacement, which conviniently will happen when we move in the spring.
And plus also @sailorgal that experience sounds awful I'm sorry!

QOTW: I absolutely splurge on nice high thread count sheets. It is so worth the comfort. Ha! My husband resents the fact that I need $80-$120 sheet sets. They are just so freakin' soft!
