I'm also annoyed because I sent a boob pic with a "have a good first day of school" message to Cute Dad this morning and haven't heard from him yet today. That stinker.
he's in school all day. He'll get you a pee-pee pic later.
Psh, there are these things called lunch breaks, ya know!
Squishy boob hugs @jesuisfatiguee. Actually they are fairly solid right now and could potentially poke an eye out, but it's the thought that counts right?
I'd take any type of boob hug from you, my dear :x
Im sorry you're struggling @shinyredsmartazz. How long has your DS been on the Alimentum? I remember remember we switched DS over to the PurAmino (elemental formula), it took a good 2 weeks for his little gut to heal and for us to see improvement.
If its been 2 weeks and your LO is still suffering, I say breathe down the pedi's neck about getting a pre-authorization for your insurance to cover an elemental formula. Poor baby. Poor mama, too!
Not even a week yet. I know it will take a bit longer; today has just been bad. I finally got DS down to sleep and the dogs started barking. Normally he sleeps through that, but today he woke up. The fucking annoying lawn care people are here being loud so the dogs won't stop. It's just really bothering me that I can't get any sense of bonding with DS because he is so unhappy all the time. I know we've bonded some, he hears my voice and his eyes follow me, but it just doesn't feel like it.
I totally get where you're at right now bc I've been there. That was the first 6 weeks of my son's life. He was miserable, so in turn, I was too. But as soon as he got used to the elemental formula, he started to feel better, and I felt better too.
Hang in there, lady. It gets better. A lot better.
Our friend just announced that his wife is having another baby due in April. Anytime I see a pregnancy announcement, it makes me want another baby RIGHT NOW rather than waiting until next year to start trying like we have planned.
I just put LO down for nap without nursing. I think we're going to start weaning. It's bittersweet.

So I decided to restart Gossip Girl (I never got very far with it in the first place). I just really want some mindless teeny bopper shows, and they took Felicity off of Netflix. I'm pissed. Does GG get much better? I'm pretty meh about it right now.
Yeah. Chuck Bass changes a lot from a villain to an anti hero.
-My son was born in April 2012. He pretty much rules.
Just returned from final walk through and signing the next 15 years of our lives away...and the house was left dirty! UGH. Dirty cabinets, drawers, closet shelves! Drywall anchors and screws all over the place. Damaged paint where they pulled curtain rods off...my goodness! I guess Ill be cleaning the house before painting the house before moving in this weekend!
That really sucks. The previous homeowners to our new place had it professionally cleaned for us. I vow if and when I move again, I will be courteous and do the same. Moving is stressful enough.

I disagree.
Each time we switched DS to a more broken down formula, we saw improvement.
Sometimes babies just have colic. I would not be switching to elemental formula unless I had convincing evidence of MSPI.
True. I guess my angle is more biased bc in our situation, that was naturally our coursr of action, since my DS did have obvious sign of MPI (Blood in stool). But you're right. If her LO doesn't show signs of obvious MPI, then her pedi probably wouldnt move to an elemental formula.
