@snegde: I think you said you're a psychologist? What kind of psychologist? How long have you been doing it? Do you like it?

@KateRN08‌ - Were you a labor & delivery nurse before you had your baby? If so, do you feel like seeing & helping so many women give birth helped you be prepared to do it yourself? Or did it make you more nervous?

@MagalinaH‌ - We have a goldendoodle! He's a small one though - only about 20 pounds. His name is Murphy, and he is our only pet

And now a question for you - you're a teacher, too, right? (If I'm remembering incorrectly, I will pick a new question for you!). What grade & subject do you teach? Is that what you want to teach your whole career?

@Babieseverywhere: This was actually a joke from when DH and I were planning our wedding--I have a PhD (not an MD), and some etiquette books said I would get called "Dr." while some did not--so we joked that I could be a hybrid Dr/Mrs. And the mantis is because that is my nickname for my DH (he is tall and thin, occasionally a little bit green after too much drinking).

I teach Title I Math for grades K-5 at 2 different elementary schools. It's small group pull-out math for students who are below grade level but not special ed. It's a federally funded program provided to schools with a high free and reduced price lunch percentage.

I always have wanted to teach elementary grades, but I never thought I'd be teaching math only. My high school math teacher used to tease me saying that he just knew that's what I'd end up doing. When I moved to Iowa, it was the first teaching job that opened up and I jumped on it. I absolutely love it and can't imagine going back to a regular classroom. I did teach 4th grade in St. Paul, MN before coming to IA.

@doribeth851 I actually live in Cleveland and I do work at one the "big" ones. It's a level one trauma hospital meaning we get the worst of the worse.

@bowman958 when he first left I thought he was a dick becuase he embarrassed a city that did not need help in that category...when I heard he was coming back I was like "well at least the half time shows will get better" and then changed the channel. I think he does get things for the community and the city but Lebron is so full of himself...but I can't lie if we win a championship I'm hoping on the band wagon !!

I live about an hour north of Waterloo. Originally from the Ames area and we are hoping to move to the Granger/Polk City/Madrid are in the next few years!

That'd be pretty close to Grimes! We have friends that live in Granger and Polk City. We're less than 10minutes from both of them.
