Eyeglasses?

Has anyone gotten a good deal anywhere? Online maybe?

I used the insurance for contacts but I wear glasses at home. I'm near-sighted, so readers won't cut it. I need prescription lenses and frames. TIA.

eyebuydirect.com So far the best glasses I have found. I liked them so much more than my super expensive ones from the eye doctor.

OK, am I just a freak? How do you buy eyeglasses without trying them on? I feel like 9 out of 10 pairs I put on my face look completely ridiculous.

My H said the same thing. If I wore them out, I would worry about it but I wear contacts mostly. The glasses are just at the house 99% of the time.

eyebuydirect has a thing where you upload a picture and you can "try" them on that way. I generally just stick with the same kind always, so I don't typically worry about it and mine are similar to beebop, I mostly wear them at home.

OK, that would make a difference I guess. I only wear glasses part of the time, and it's for things like driving, which would make me crazy if I hated how they looked.

eyebuydirect also has a "guarantee" that you can send them back and get a different pair if you don't like them. I think they say even if your dog doesn't like them, you can return them and exchange for something different. I actually had to send my first pair back because something little on them broke and they paid my shipping and replaced them for free. I've had nothing but good experiences with them.
