To tandem or not to tandem

Hi ladies, I'm popping in here from April '15. Hope it's ok to just post away (I did do a quick search and saw some posts from a couple months back but not super recent).
Anyway, I'm currently still nursing my 13mo DD and 8 weeks pregnant with #2...I know I have plenty of time yet just trying to make a plan. DD isn't showing any signs of slowing down although I think my supply has dropped because I feel like she's doing a ton more comfort nursing. I really had never ever considered tandem nursing until recently and frankly the idea terrifies me, I worry that it will take away from my bonding time with the new baby and it will take an emotional and physical toll on me. I guess I'm just looking for others experiences and suggestions on how to transition through this time whether it be weaning or tandem. Sorry for the long and scattered post!
