Diving in the deep end

Hello ladies, I've been posting here and there for the last few weeks and decided it was about time to jump right in and get the introduction out of the way.  I've never really been a part of a message board before, so all of this is fairly new for me.  I don't usually spend much time on the computer, but since getting pregnant my job has changed and I've been plopped in front of a computer.  I am a 32 year old Firefighter/ Engineer and have been TTC for about a year before hubby and I finally became pregnant with our little chicken nugget.  My pregnancy threw a loop for our Fire Department since I am the first female firefighter my Fire Chief has ever worked with.  Right now they have me working the alarm room (answering 911 calls and dispatching emergencies) until a Fire Prevention position opens.  We are a military family. I did 4 years active duty as a Firefighter, deployed to Baghdad once before deciding to get out and get a civilian job as a firefighter.  My husband is also active duty military; his job is Explosive Ordinance Disposal which is bomb squad for the Air Force.  We both met while stationed together in Phoenix and fell in love.  We dated for 8 years before getting married once before his 4th deployment at Crater Lake National Park in Oregon, and then for a second time with friends and family at Sundance Resort in Utah which is where we are stationed now.  I'm originally from the Los Angeles area and my husband is from Long Island, New York.  We have 2 amazing fur babies a female 8 y/o Lab Shepard mix and a male 1 y/o Rhodesian Ridgeback.  Hubby has deployed 4 times Afghanistan/Iraq and spent a year in Korea, so fingers crossed that all the tensions happening in the middle east won't take him away for our March 9th 2015 expected due date.  I am very excited to become a part of this community and can't wait to share in everyone else's experiences.
