  • Migraine... I'm miserable... They've happened every few days this pregnancy. I have complicated migraines so I look like I've had a stroke, and lose vision out of my left eye... School starts next week for my daughter and I'm hoping they don't interfere too often and keep me from driving.

Mine is kinda lame...but my wedding set no longer fits as of yesterday. I thought yesterday's swollen fingers was a fluke or due to the heat.. But they didn't fit this morning either :| so unreasonably heartbroken, as I feel totally naked without them.
boo :( I am so afraid of this b/c I think I'd be devastated if I couldn't wear them. Not that it makes you feel any better to hear that lol. Maybe wear a replacement something until they can fit again?

  • @AnnieRoo13 Thanks for the heads up about chia seeds! Husband had started adding them to his yogurt (he's into weird food fads) and shortly after began having lots of GI urgency he couldn't figure out. I was able to put the cause and effect together thanks to your TMI Tuesday, lol.

I'm glad my TMIs can help someone BAHA!

My new weird food fad is hemp hearts- has he tried those?

  • My in-laws invited themselves over this weekend. They are staying Thursday-Tuesday... Ever since my husband and I moved 6 hours away, they can't bear to go a month without visiting. (And the intensity of needing to see us has gone up from an already unreal amount once they found out their first grandchild was on the way) And frankly, I'm sick and tired of it. They love their son, my almost 29 year old hubby- I love that. But at some point, it'll be nice if they could just give a little space. They have two kids that are their LIFE. I grew up the oldest of 6 kids. When I was out of the house- I was one less kid my parents needed to think about (haha) so I've been very independent since I was 17 and living on my own, my parents didn't beg and whine for my company (although they do love me very much.). I can be thankful we don't live in the same town as my in laws anymore when they used to require us to visit them 3-4 times a week or else we'd get calls and texts galore, guilt tripping us into visiting. Anyway... I do love them. They are nice people with big hearts. I just damn well don't feel like entertaining my in laws aggggain for such a long weekend!! Am I being a little selfish here?!

Absolutely not! I think that's a lot to ask from you and your DH, especially while you are getting ready for your LO.I know exactly how you feel, I have similar problems with mine! I am also the oldest of 6 and was raised to be independent and on my own. I crave family time, but please respect the space. My inlaws are not that way, they hold on tightly, DH's little brother (21) has never had a job or anything  and commutes to college, his mom will not let him out of the nest. she could barely handle DH being on his own even before we were together.

We just moved from IN (where DH is from) back to OH (by my family) and his mom is having a hard time. They too want to text and visit every month and are constantly asking when we can visit when LO is born. That's a five hr car drive in the middle of winter with an infant....probably not happening for awhile. I had to have DH break that news to them so they wouldn't burn me at the stake. They are literally the world's nicest people and I love them, but they are very needy when it comes to their boys.

I supposed I'm not one to talk though, my dad stays with us for a week at a time every month and setting boundaries with that man is like talking to the driveway. Our 1 yr anniversary is 10/4 and he'll be there, so we're trying to figure out how to have a special night away from him, and then how to be our own little family with LO arrives, because everyone wants to stay at our house from out of town.

Sorry for the huge rant/response. just was excited to know we're not the only ones having boundary issues with the family.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one as well!! I know exactly how you feel! Our situations sounds very, very similar. It's frustrating, and I'm sure hormones are NOT helping the situation... I could rant so much longer haha. Just know, I understand where you're at!!

I had the same realization yesterday! Husband offered to get me a necklace to wear them on but I have a big chunky soldered set so it wouldn't work so great. On the upside he felt so badly about it he brought up the term push present all on his own. I could hold out for a new one :)
Glad to know I'm not alone! the necklace is a great idea.. Mine isn't soldered together but I would be terrified of the necklace somehow falling off and me loosing them? My set is ridiculously expensive(cuz of the diamond) so he said there will never be an upgrade. Ever. Lol... DH did suggest getting a fashion/fake jewelry set they sell at Claire's/most stores .. Which is what I'll probably resort to. Boo!
My ring is just too tight for comfort, and it isn't something that I can have easily resized because it is vintage. So out of fear of it needing to be cut off if I kept wearing it, I went and bought a fake ring from Target. Everyone thinks its real. Its pretty funny actually. But for 15 dollars, I figured why not.
Talk to whatever store you got the ring at about resizing.  We got our rings at Jared and they were able to size up my ring yesterday in about an hour for free.  I'll have it sized back down after I give birth.

  • My boobs hurt. The muscle under my boobs hurt. My tailbone hurts. My shoulders are tense. My body is uncomfortable. Waaaaaah!
  • My Monday bitch is I don't know if I'm having Braxton-Hicks contractions or not.  My belly feels hard and tight but it doesn't really come and go, it's pretty constant since shortly after lunch.  And I'm at work so I can't just go lay down and see if it gets better.  Moving around and drinking more water hasn't helped.  I can still feel LO moving and kicking in there every so often.  Part of me thinks he's just in a weird new position and pressing on me in a different way than I've gotten used to.

Oh THIS, THIS, THIS!! Tight for three hours now! If I lie down, it gets softer, but is tight the second I stand up. No pain or even really uncomfortable.

I'm pretty sure she's just lying sideways and spread eagle, but I'm really not enjoying this!
  • WTF DOG AND BODY?!

My first one is the entire reason I have commenting on a Tuesday...

On Friday evening (after every place was closed of course), DH & I came home to find our internet box & cords laying on the floor and in the middle of a pile of dog pee, which in turn, shorted the entire thing out and we have been without internet for almost 5 days now (which to us is the end of the world lol)

Yesterday I called off work because I was hit with a freakish amount of various symptoms: Sinus Headache, nasal pressure, ZERO sleep, heart burn, vomiting, swollen feet and severe back pain. It SUCKED
