We will do as before. DD is super excited and I even have our advent calendar already planned. I'm planning ahead as much as possible, ex gifts are being wrapped (I have a list to remind me what I got who), our storage is the same, so DH can handle that, and I think it's do able. I even told dd we will go to michaels/ target/ hobby lobby for clearance ornaments after Christmas like we do every year! Dd was born dec 28 and we had enough time to get everything down by the second week of January. This dd is due dec 4th so I think we will be fine again. The only thing my husband is not capable of doing is meticulously putting away our ornaments
I have a 5 and 2 year old so I'm not sure I could get away with not decorating for Christmas. That said, i will not be going overboard making breakfast Christmas morning and inviting DHs family over this year. That sounds too exhausting.
I am decorating but will do so earlier than usual. Probably around Thanksgiving. I just feel like it won't be the same without decorations. Plus I have the fake tree with lights already attached so its pretty easy to do.

I'm due at the beginning of Dec and will be having another csection. We're planning to set up Christmas around Thanksgiving. I want to put in the effort for DS because he loves all the decorations.
I'm due the 21st an I have a son who will be 3 on Christmas Day ! so I just put up a tree about 2 weeks before an now I'll be having a birthday Christmas permanently . Few stickers on the window with fake snow, an re preparing for labour is my plan this year! X
Christmas is my favorite thing ever! Hell yes, I'll be decorating! I love my house during Christmastime. Tree in the living room, lights outside. Cinnamon candles.. I love love love it!
Totally decorating. First Christmas in our new house and I am SO excited for my (fake) tree in the front picture window! Will be up to DH whether to do lights outside, though I think he probably will. We always do the decorating together right after Thanksgivjng with Christmas music blasting so it's a fun holiday tradition for us.
We always leave everything up at least til New Years and usually through the 12 days of Christmas, so I'm never in a rush to take it down.
D14 November, because I am finally not on mobile, how I feel in 3rd tri:
I'm one of those crazy people that bust out the decorations and buy a tree right after thanksgiving. Since I'm use at the end of the month I'll definitely have out all my holiday gear before the baby comes.
January 2014:BFP!!!! Ectopic pregnancy ruptured at 6wks1day. Left Fallopian tube removed. Noted during surgery the right Fallopian tube is severely damaged from 2004 ectopic pregnancy.
April 8 2014: IVF#1 w/ISCI: 10 received, 5 mature, 3 fertilized. Day 3 transfer of all three embies.
April 22, 2014: BFP! beta #1: 80 beta #2: 211 One nugget!
I'll probably decorate right after Thanksgiving. I love love love having a Christmas tree up. I'm due the 12th so I should have a LO by Christmas (omg... Reality kicking in). I'm pretty sure my family mentioned coming to my house (and doing the cooking) since we prob won't be up for going anywhere. As for when it will all be taken down.... I STILL have some random decor from last year around the house so I'm obviously never in a hurry lol. Maybe it'll all get taken down by Christmas 2015.
We will decorate inside, but not outside. Our outside lights will just have to stay in the box this year, unless Hubbs feels like doing them on his own. We can't not decorate - we both love Christmas so much. Plus, our first will be 2 years old and is really into unwrapping gifts now, so it should be so much fun. We'll have this baby on the 16th at the latest, so that's time to get home from the hospital and celebrate as a family. We decorate the day after Thanksgiving, so hopefully it won't be a problem.
We will put our tree up for Grace (she'll be almost 3) and try to make Christmas as normal as possible, but we aren't going all out on decorations. I doubt we'll put up lights or anything. Just because all that has to come DOWN at some point.
Micropreemie, IUGR mom to Noah, born 10 weeks early at 1lb, 10oz. Grace born 02/2012
Christmas is so beautiful! my niece was born December 1st 2010 and I remember how mesmerized she was by the lights on the tree. It was soothing and actually calmed her when she was fussing. I also find the gentle lights on the tree relaxing so we will be doing our typical Christmas decorating! !!
